"Shy Sparks"
Kuroo Tetsurou wasn't the kind of guy you could easily miss. He was loud, confident, and charismatic, with an unmistakable presence both in the classroom and on the volleyball court. Almost every girl in their year had their eyes on him at some point, whether it was his mischievous smirk or his seemingly effortless charm.
Y/N noticed him too, of course. How could she not?
But unlike the other girls, she never dared to approach him. Not because she didn't want to, but because she couldn't.
Talking to someone like Kuroo was unthinkable for her. She struggled to even speak up in class, let alone with someone as outgoing as him. It wasn't that she didn't have thoughts, opinions, or feelings. It was just... she wasn't used to being listened to. Years of living under a roof where her voice didn't matter, where her father's anger controlled every word and action, had made her retreat into herself. The idea of standing up for herself or expressing her feelings terrified her.
But she admired Kuroo from afar, quietly sitting in their chemistry class, stealing glances at him when he answered questions with ease or joked around with his friends. He had a sharp wit and a clever mind, something she deeply admired. And every now and then, when he wasn't looking, she'd let herself daydream, imagining what it might be like to actually talk to him.

Y/N's newfound interest in Kuroo extended beyond chemistry class. She had heard from a friend that he was on the volleyball team, and out of curiosity, she decided to attend one of their games. She found a quiet spot in the back, her hands gripping the edge of her seat as she watched the team play. Her heart raced whenever Kuroo served or spiked the ball, his natural talent shining through with every move.
And when they won, and Kuroo flashed that signature smirk of his, Y/N felt her cheeks heat up, a small giggle escaping her lips.
Watching him play was different. It wasn't just about volleyball. It was about seeing him in his element, confident and sure of himself, something Y/N wished she could feel for herself.
But no matter how much she admired him, she knew it wasn't something she could act on. After all, Kuroo had plenty of admirers. What was one more shy girl to him? He probably didn't even know her name.

From Kuroo's Perspective:
Kuroo had always noticed Y/N. Not in the way that people often fawned over him or how his friends teased him about his "fan club." No, he noticed her in the small moments.
She was quiet, almost painfully so, in their chemistry class. She'd always sit in the corner, rarely speaking unless called upon, and even then, her voice was soft, almost a whisper. It intrigued him-not because she was "different," but because there was something genuine about her that he found refreshing. In a sea of loud voices and over-exaggerated laughs, Y/N was real, and she didn't try to be anyone but herself.
At first, he thought maybe she didn't like him. She never approached him, never engaged in the banter or conversation that surrounded him. But then he started catching her looking at him during class, or when he walked by in the hallways. It was subtle, but Kuroo had a knack for reading people. And after seeing her in the crowd at one of their games, sitting in the back, he began to realize something: Y/N was watching him, in her own quiet way.
It made him curious, and slowly, almost without realizing it, he began looking for her too.
