Peter rubbed his eyes as he pushed open the door to Y/n's bedroom. He probably looked like a mess. He went through so much data and research with Tony that he couldn't think anymore. His head hurt and he was ready to go home. May was waiting for him. She hadn't seen him in days. But Peter did not want to leave Y/n behind again. Natasha came into the lab earlier and told them Y/n was fine. She whispered to Peter about his girlfriend's monthly issue and he wanted to leave, but Tony wouldn't let him. Natasha took good care of her, as always, but now Peter wanted to give her a cuddle. "Baby?" When he came in, Y/n's bed was empty. Peter scanned the room for her but she wasn't at her desk or her closet either. The bathroom door opened and Y/n stepped out. She was still in his blue sweater, along with some black leggings and cozy socks. "There you are." Peter approached her. Before Y/n could say anything, Peter grabbed her face and kissed her sweetly. Y/n placed her hands over his and smiled into their kiss. When her boyfriend broke their kiss, he bent down a little to grab her thighs and lift her off the floor. "Missed you." He mumbled to her. She should have known Nat would tell him about this. Secretly, she was grateful for that. Y/n combed her fingers through his curls. He loved it when she did that. Unknowingly always melting into her touch. "Are you in pain?" He asked her. Y/n shook her head. "Not much. Just a small cramp. Tomorrow's going to be way worse. My uterus is warming up." Peter chuckled softly. He walked them over to the bed where he rested his knee on the mattress before he lay her down so carefully. Peter has always been the sweetest during these times. Even when she was being unreasonable or irrational – and that didn't just happen on her period – Peter always remained calm and sweet. Y/n never understood how he managed that. If Peter snapped at her the way she does sometimes, she would not be all sweet when he comes back and asks for a cuddle.

Peter scanned her face and held her cheek in his hand, not bothered by the fact that he was quite literally on top of her. "And the other pains? Do you want me to get you anything?" He listened to her heart beating in her chest. It sounded normal. "I'm fine. I'm a bit hungry, though. Haven't eaten much today." She admitted sheepishly. Nat offered to make her something earlier but she refused. It wasn't like she was nauseous but she just didn't feel like eating. Nothing piqued her interest. But her stomach was growling a little bit by now. "Uh, May made some pizzas. Do you want to come?" Peter did not know how May would react if he brought Y/n back home with him. The last thing she heard was that Y/n tried to find some glorious purpose and got hurt in the process. He has been texting May to keep her up to date. But knowing his aunt, she would never tell Y/n to stay outside, even after what happened. "I don't think my dad will let me go. Does May even want me in her home?" Y/n asked. They both shifted to sit on the bed together, Peter in front of her instead of on top. "May loves you." Peter reminded her and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "My dad won't allow it. It's like we're years back in time." Peter smiled sweetly at her. He grasped her hands and pulled them up to his lips, kissing her knuckles. "I will talk to Tony and text May. Leave it to me, don't worry about it, baby." She was not worried, but she appreciated Peter's kindness. "I love you." He added. "I love you, Peter. How did it go in the lab?" Y/n lay back down and pulled Peter along with her. He rested his head on her chest. He loved her so much. He let out a loving sigh and snuggled into her. "I think I lost my ability to read. I've never gone through so much data before." Y/n laughed and placed her hand in his hair to massage his head softly. "Your dad's doing all he can. You should've seen him. He'll do anything for you. And so would I." He said as he glanced up at her. "I know you do. I brought this on myself, though." She admitted. Peter reached out to touch her cheek with his right hand again. "Don't be like that, please. You just made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. We're going to fix this."

Peter was too good to be true. He really was. "It seems a little unlikely that I will ever be completely the same, Peter. Doesn't matter how hard your pretty head works." Peter blushed a bit at her comment. When they were in school, Y/n said that almost every day. Even before they started dating. Peter knows he's smart, but to hear that from someone you love that much hits on a whole different level. Every time Y/n said something sweet it hit Peter on a different level. "You're so pretty," Y/n added with a smile.
The door opened causing the both of them to jump. Y/n held onto Peter a little tighter like a kid would a teddy bear after being scared. Tony stepped inside. "Sorry." He started, "I knocked. Kid, your aunt called. She asked when you were heading home. I can pull up a car to drive you." Tony offered him. Peter sat up and looked at Y/n. "Yeah, yeah, thank you, Mister Stark. Uh, I wanted to ask you something. Do you think Y/n could maybe come with me for dinner?" He really felt like his fifteen-year-old self again, too nervous to talk to Tony without stumbling over his words or stuttering. Tony started to frown and shake his head. "No. Not happening." Peter sensed Y/n's mood shift. She sat up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She rested her head on his shoulder and pouted quietly. "I'm not going to swing her all the way to Queens, Mister Stark. Just a change of scenery. And May wants to see her too. She's worried."
"Kid, I'm not sure if taking her back and forth to Queens for dinner is such a good idea. We're not there. We can't do anything if something goes wrong." Tony reminded him. And Peter could not disagree with him on that. He turned his head to look at his girlfriend. He placed one of his hands over her arm, which was around him. "Mister Stark, you know I won't let anything happen to her."
"I know you won't, Pete." Tony looked at his daughter sitting behind her boyfriend. Keeping her in this room until they find some sort of way to patch her back up was not the solution and Tony did not want that. "Do you want to go, squirt?" He asked her. Y/n nodded her head. She felt a little nervous to sit at the dinner table with May after what happened. She had no idea what she thought of her anymore. May is a woman with so much love to give. Y/n could only hope that she could still receive even a little bit of that love. "Fine. I'll be in the lab anyway." Tony pointed a finger at Y/n and Peter,
"The moment something feels off, you're coming back, okay?" The two teens nodded their heads.
