Ash inhaled and exhaled deeply as she stared at herself in the mirror. The day for the wedding had finally came.Helen and Sia had decided against all the bridal party shenanigans and opted to just have a big wedding.
They invited Ash's senseis and friends as they thought it would be rude not to. Helen's family except her sister refused to come as it was a lesbian wedding.
The girl tried her best to zip up her dress. When she couldn't, she sighed as she grabbed ahold of her phone before making her way downstairs to ask someone for help.
She entered the kitchen, hesitating slightly as she saw Eli eating a bowl of cereal while leaning against the counter.
She was about to quietly slip back out of the kitchen but Eli looked up from his bowl of cereal, his lips parting at the sight of her.
The two hadn't really spoken to each other since they he had fought. Ash spending the last days with Sam and the others.
The two stared at each other for a moment. Ash hated how awkward it was between them. She inhaled deeply.
"Zip me up, will you?" Ash had asked cooly as she walked towards the taller boy before turning around.
He hesitated before he put down the bowl of cereal and closed the short distance between them. Eli stared at Ash's back, her beautifully sculpted bare back. He noted that she wasn't wearing a bra, the boy swallowing his spit harshly.
Ash glanced back at him, the boy looking up to her before she turned her head back to the front of them.
"It's a little.. silly, right?" Ash had spoke softly as she stared at the wall. "A wedding when we have so much shit going on?"
"I think it's good for us to relax for a bit." Eli had told the girl as he slowly zipped up her dress. "No karate, no fighting, no stupid SeiKai TaiKai, just a good time."
Ash had turned to face the boy as he finished zipping up her dress, the two staring at each other.
There was a silent mutual understanding between the two. They had missed each other, so very much.
Ash was the one to lean in, her hand going to Eli's shoulder. Eli's hand went to her hip as the two shared a very intimate kiss.
Oh how they had missed each other so much.
Suddenly, Ash had heard a clink. She quickly pulled away from the kiss, her and Eli looking to the side of them to see Robby.
Robby sipped on whatever was in his mug, a knowing smirk plastered on his lips as he stared at the two. "Morning."
"Morning." Ash had rolled her eyes at the boy exasperatedly, folding her arms across her chest. "Where's everyone else?"
"Your mom's in her room getting ready, and Helen already left to make sure everything's perfect at the reception hall." Robby had answered with a hum.
"So early?" Ash had furrowed her brows as she glanced to the clock that read 7:23am. The wedding didn't start until 10.
"Well, when you think about it, it isn't that early." Robby had shrugged. "Mr Larusso and my dad, Carmen and Mrs Larusso went with Helen. My dad said that Helen said we should all leave here around eight."
"She really wants this to be perfect." Ash had smiled slightly. "I feel bad now for not approving of the wedding."
"You shouldn't be." Eli had quickly said. "You had your reasons, they barely even dated. But as long as they're happy, then I'm happy for them. When two people love each other so genuinely, time doesn't seem like an issue."
