Assasination

*I guess I'm dead again. Quite troublesome if you ask, this would be the fifth life I'm in. Noticeably it seems the world is darker than usual. The former ones weren't as pitch black as this*

Kakashi tried moving his arms, but the feeling was filled with fatigue and boredom. His sight was still dark, and his senses were cloudy.

*Weird. I can neither move nor walk. It's almost as if my arms are locked in a liquid, the feeling is quite slimy. Oh, my legs work quite well. Is this the sea? Maybe I was born as a mermaid*

Shaking his intricate thoughts, he brushed that concept aside. It was true his surroundings were moist, and it felt like he was in water. However, mobility was too limited for a grand stature as that.

'*Perhaps if my legs work, I might be able to get out of this darkness. Maybe by kicking slowly, I can bring out some results. *

Kicking through with instinct and guts, he thought of escaping the prison of nothingness. He felt feeble, with less to accomplish with his timid body.

*How long has it been in here? Days? Perhaps even weeks. I don't seem like I'm starving either, and speeches don't work. I tried a few times already. *

The need for time had no use since there was nothing to see. Only a thick fluid lay around him, with unknown origins. Kakashi began to grow tired of the continuous struggle and decided to try new methods to escape.

New methods, you might ask? It rather seemed like old ones, since all he could do was kick and twitch a little. With such limited movements, all he thought of was kicking.

Kicking till the darkness puked him out of its bosom. Kicking till he was free from its unwavering grasp. Struggling with a conscience for freedom, he kicked continuously with bottled feelings.

*I need to get out of here. I already lost track of time, and I know it's been so long. It doesn't seem like I'm hungry or anything. Just a case feeling of loneliness. *

*Maybe kicking some more would help. With strength and accuracy, I can feel a wall of flesh around. Surely this is the method to gain freedom from this cage of water*

Thwack!!

Continuously kicking the unknown wall that cornered him, his movement began. He felt a tight sensation around his skull, but his goal was all he thought of.

From the many lives and countless battles, Kakashi had adapted with the natural talent of survival. He pinned it as a priority to keep in check and willfully engaged in it with great effort.

Flowing out from the thick mush of water, he stretched in satisfaction. His gleaming smile turned into wails of complaints after his eyelids opened slowly.

"I'm finally free!!! Curse you bastards in high places, always putting me in tribulations. I'm free!!"

His words of excitement were different from what he heard. They were wails from a baby, annoying and loud. Kakashi turned confused as he saw the large face of a woman leaning towards him.

"What is the meaning of this?? How can everything sound so...small? Giants, I was thrown into the world of giants!!"

The women stood around the baby with expressions of satisfaction. Each one came close to the baby which lay within the arms of the mistress.

"Congratulations my mistress, you have finally birthed two baby boys.", one maid announced happily.

"Aren't they adorable? Look at their cute cheeks", another maid affirmed.

"Certainly!! These would be the young masters of our house!!", a proud maid nodded cheerfully.

The mother of the twins looked at them with cheerful hearts. She had grown happy from seeing her two beautiful kids and kissed them cheerfully.

"You should listen to your brother mostly Arthur. The younger child has to be obedient, and always follow his brother's footsteps. Micheal, don't maltreat your little brother", the mistress said as she kissed the twins.

Kakashi was struck amazed by those words she uttered. He didn't want to accept the fate the gods bestowed upon him and wailed continuously. Yet his brother was soundly asleep after wailing an hour ago.

"A baby? Of all things, you gods make me a baby? Pray I don't drag you from your seats myself!!! I promise you!! Mmm", Kakashi cried loudly.

The mistress shoved her breasts into his mouth, preventing him from wailing loudly. However he still moved his arms strongly, and his body accumulated fatigue.

After a few minutes of spouting nonsense and insults, his eyes grew tired. Falling asleep, the two were later sent into a baby cot, where they slept soundly.

Kakashi woke up a few minutes later and turned towards the side. He saw the large room, and the ceiling was filled with beautiful art lost in history.

Knowing this, he realized he was in a rich home and simply lay down. Thinking of his past lives every day, and pooping on himself when he even tried not to.

*I hate this life since it is full of irregularities. I could be killed at any moment, by who knows what. Quite shameful if you ask. Come to think of it, why do I die in each turn? *

*It's not like I'm a serial killer or someone chased by the guards of heaven. Can't say I'm lucky, these events aren't lucky. Perhaps I will just lengthen my lifetime in this round since I will be protected by Mom and Dad. *

*They called me Arthur. Sounds foreign when I think it through. Anyway, that's my name, and my brother's is Michael I think. He sleeps like a pig, always lying about like a baby. *

*Six months stuck in this position. I can now crawl, although it can't be large distances. Maybe sleeping a little will help, like my lazy brother. He is your Elder Brother, she says. I should have kicked harder in there*

Kakashi, now named Arthur, turned over to sleep. He rolled back to watch the ceiling as he felt it was uncomfortable and closed his eyelids slowly.

Micheal had risen from his sleep upon seeing Arthur asleep and crawled towards him. He leaned forth in strength and stared at his little brother with cold eyes.

"This lad is quite hard to rid of. Nevertheless, why would they give birth to both of us in the same place? If it makes my job easier, I'd just get over with it.", Michael scoffed in baby language.

Dragging the nearby pillow, he pulled it towards the sleeping body of Arthur and placed it over his face. Attempting to assassinate his newly found brother, he leaned towards the pillow to sleep on it, but Arthur rolled to the side sharply.

The eyes of Arthur met Michael's, and they both stared at each other for a while. An assassination attempt on his life was something that wasn't new, but the things he heard were certainly alien.

"Were you just trying to kill me, Big Brother?"
