Chapter 10: The Engagement
      Jackie went to visit Anne. 
"How are you doing?" Jackie asked. 
"I am doing okay. The doctor told me I must stay in bed for a week," Anne replied. "I am sorry about the baby," Jackie said sadly. 
"Do not worry about me. How was your date?" Anne asked, quickly changing the subject. 
"I had fun," Jackie replied. "That is great!" Anne said happily. 
Lisa walked into Anne's room. 
"Did you have fun on your date with Gaston?" Lisa asked.
	"Yes, I had a great time with Gaston. He is so easy to talk to. Gaston wants to see me again. When are you going to get a boyfriend, Lisa? There are plenty of guys out there. You need to forget about Nicholas and move on," Jackie suggests.
"Jackie, I am too busy working to have a boyfriend and I do not want a boyfriend. I have not found anyone that I like. I want to go back to college and get a criminology degree," Lisa replied.
"That is great. I know you like reading mystery stories. I think my mom likes your dad," Jackie told Lisa.
"I know. I think my dad likes your mom too. If they get married, we will be sisters," Lisa replied happily.
"You have always been my sister," Jackie corrected Lisa.
Prince Adam
	Prince Adam was eager to do something special for Rachel, but he was unsure of what to plan. 
When Henry entered Prince Adam's room, he inquired, "What's wrong, Adam?" Prince Adam responded, "I want to do something special for Rachel, but I can't figure out what." 
Henry proposed, "Maurice mentioned that Rachel has a passion for gardens, particularly roses. I'm sure Anne wouldn't mind if you gave Rachel her garden." Prince Adam concurred with Henry, saying, "Yes, I recall Maurice saying that Rachel adores roses. That's an excellent idea."
	Prince Adam set out to find Rachel, who was enjoying a book outside in the warm weather. 
When he located her, he exclaimed, "I have a surprise for you." 
Curious, Rachel asked, "What is it?" 
Prince Adam replied, "You need to come with me to find out. Please close your eyes." 
Excited, Rachel complied. 
He guided her to the garden and said, "You can open your eyes now." 
When she did, Rachel was astonished by the sight before her—a stunning garden that appeared to have been neglected for some time.
	The garden resembled the one Rachel used to help her mother with, but it was larger. 
"I know you enjoy gardens, so I want to let you take care of my sister's garden," Prince Adam said. 
"Thank you! I absolutely love it!" Rachel responded. 
"My dad has provided all the supplies you'll need for the garden. If you require more, we can get additional supplies," Prince Adam added. 
"This is more than enough. I've always wanted a garden, but my father couldn't afford one. When my mother was alive, she had a garden, and I used to help her with it," Rachel said, her voice tinged with sadness. 
Mrs. Potter and the other servants were pleased to see Prince Adam being so kind to Rachel.
A Year Later
	Gaston had been dating Jackie for a year and was ready to ask her to be his wife. He made special plans for the occasion, including preparing a dinner at his house. Additionally, Gaston was having a house built for both of them. He had heard that Belle was dating Andrew Madison, and he was genuinely happy for them, no longer holding any anger towards Belle. Gaston had already informed Lisa about his intention to propose to Jackie, and she was happy for the couple.
	The next day, Lisa took Jackie shopping for a new dress. Jackie chose a gold dress with matching shoes. Peggy knew that Gaston was going to propose to Jackie, and she was happy about it. Peggy gave Jackie a beautiful locket that belonged to her mother. Peggy couldn't wait to be a grandmother.
