waking up in the TVD universe definitely isn't what I expected would happen after being hit by that stupid truck. Especially waking up in the body of the female version of Niklaus Mikaelson.

After yesterday's events I was more than ready to get the hell out of this town, honestly it brings nothing but danger and heartache to everyone's lives. Having a couple of compelled humans pack myself, Kai, and my sibling's luggage into the cars, I headed off to the living room to greet my family, walking in I immediately head over to Elijah and Kol giving them a kiss on the check along with greeting the rest of my sibling's good morning.
"Our bags are currently being packed into the cars, which means we will be leaving this one pony town at 12 on the dot, I have a few things I need to handle first" making my way over to the front door as I speak. "Rebekah and I are planning on heading off shortly we have a flight to catch at 12" Elijah speaks up while giving me a hug goodbye and a kiss on the head, Rebekah giving me a slightly hesitant hug before making her way out of the room, a sigh escapes my lips as I watch Rebekah disappear, we were making progress but I know that some time and space will do more good than her being here with me.
"Kol sweetie there is breakfast In the fridge for both you and kai, can you please let him know when he wakes up, they are labelled so eat yours only, it has a little something extra in it" sending him a stern look, before giving him a cheeky smile and wink, a bright smile lights up his face as he flashes over to me giving me a quick kiss on the check before flashing of too I assume the kitchen, laughing at how drastically different this Kol is to the one portrayed in the show I continue off to the front door.
Flashing out of the house and appearing in front of mystic falls very own bubbly blond vampire's home, I knock gently on the door, not having to wait very long until its being swung open by a slightly agitated and sad Caroline. "Nicole? What are you doing here?" fear seeping into her tone as she takes a small step back from the door, I just offer a small gentle smile hoping to appear non-threating.
"I'm not here to hurt you, Caroline. As you know me and my family are leaving town today, we are planning on being gone for the entire summer break, and I was hoping that you would join us" keeping the gentle look on my face as I speak. I can see the hesitance in her eyes but also the intrigue to my proposition, "why me, out of everyone why ask me" I could see the insecurity fill her eyes I guess years of being pushed aside and being the backup friend will do that to you.
"Caroline, you are someone who reminds me of my old self, I was always second best to my older brothers, and then when Rebekah was born I was the forgotten daughter to my parents, I didn't have any real friends in the village and the ones I did have only wanted to be my friend to get close to my brothers" I can see the understanding wash over her face along with a bit of sorrow, "then I became a vampire, and found out about my werewolf heritage, now while it might have been locked away it allowed me to realize that I am so much more than the broken and abused Mikaelson, that I was now this powerful, strong, confidant woman, and I want that for you as well, you deserve to be someone's first choice Caroline but in order for that to happen you need to choose yourself first".
