Ryan turned red with anger hearing Zachary say he wants to be involved in Ryders life. He wanted to explode but decided to play it cool instead.
Ryan immediately starts firing question after question to Fatima, not giving her time to answer or compose herself. Fatima answered none of his questions.
She sat silent, not wanting to say something she may regret or put on a show in this restaurant full of strangers. Lastly, she didn't want to give Zachary the satisfaction of thinking he is running things.
Ryan: So you just going to sit there looking stuck like you don't hear me?
Fatima: Ryan Babe, I need you to calm down. You're causing a scene. Can we please go home and talk about this.
Ryan: Fuck these people, and we're most definitely going to talk about this because Ryder will never be in the same room as this nigga let alone in her life.
Zachary: I'm going to let you have that one since considering you may feel blindsided but I'll tell you just like I told her. Yall got 3 days before my we take the legal route. I appreciate what you've done up into this pointe but she has a father ready and willing to show up and that's exactly what I plan to do.
Ryan: Blindsided? I think that may be you. I've known she wasn't biology mine since she before she was conceived. I'll let your good buddy here fill you in on the details so I can get to the bottom line. Bottom line is I'm on her birth certificate as her father, legally she's mine and you have zero rights to her. Now if you two would excuse me I need to go find a realtor who is focused on selling homes not ruining them.
With that Ryan got up and left. Fatima finally took a deep breathe while trying to come up with a solution.
Zachary: You good?
Fatima: I'm fine. I'm sorry about all of this, ill talk to him and figure something out.
Zachary: Why did you keep her away from me?
Fatima: I made a mistake. I didn't think you would show up for her, I thought you would leave her disappointed like you did me. I was young and I was wrong.
Zachary: If he signed the birth certificate then why does she have your last name?
Fatima: Because she's MY child, and I didn't want us to have mismatched last names. Before you ask, I gave her your middle because I wanted her to have a piece of you. I was also planning to tell her when she was older.
Zachary: Does he hit her, or you?
Fatima: What? Why the fuck would you assume he hits her? Do you think I would allow someone to hit on me or my child?
Zachary: I'm just asking, he gives off military army dad. Them types be crazy. I'm not assuming you're in a abusive relationship I'm just asking as a concerned father.
Fatima: Well hold your concerned father bit for the judge. No one is being abused in my household. Look I gotta go, please give me a couple days to talk to her and Ryan. I promise we can come to a resolution.
Zachary: That's fine with me. I just really want to be in her life. I'm not looking to step on no toes or cause any unnecessary drama. I take great care of my responsibilities and I pride myself on being a damn good father to Reign. Ryder will get the same princess treatment if not more since we got some time to make up for.
Fatima: How are you going g to explain Ryder existence to your wife?
Zachary: Honestly, I don't know but that's for me to work out. I will tell you once she meets Ryder she's going to fall in love with her. At some point everything will work itself out.
