Deliah now had four souls trapped in her porcelain dolls. She was very happy with her abilities but she was only just getting started. She still had ten more dolls that she wanted to trap her victims in. She truly believed that killing them was going to save them. Deliah wants to give them all the things they couldn't have in life. She wants to raise them as her babies with Mia, all this is for Mia.
Deliah was happily brushing through her babies hair singing to them when she suddenly noticed something. “Don't cry baby Reecey, do you miss Marjorie?” She said as she wiped the doll's face as if she was removing tears. “Would you like me to get her for you? Her doll is so pretty isn't it?” Deliah said as she stared at the corner full of dolls. She carefully placed the Reece doll back on her desk and walked over to pick up the exact doll she wanted next.
This particular doll had long curly brown hair and a small pair of cheetah print glasses. “Don't worry baby Reecey i will go get Baby Marjie! You will both be so happy together again!” Deliah giggled, all she wanted was to make her babies happy.
Deliah sat back in her chair and cradled the Marjorie doll close to her chest. “Let's sing your favorite song baby Marjie!” She giggled as she laid the doll on her blood soaked knees and removed one of the doll's shoes and socks. The Marjorie doll was laying in her lap when Delilah began to sing, pulling on the doll's toes with each line. “This little piggy went to market. This little piggy stayed at home. This little piggy had roast beef. This little piggy had none. This little piggy went Wee, Wee, Wee all the way home!” She tickled the Marjorie doll as if she would be able to feel it and giggled to herself before carefully putting the sock and shoe back on the doll.
“Okay are you ready baby Marjie? Reecey is going to be so happy to be with you again!” Deliah said as she began collecting all the things she needed to claim her next victim. Marjorie was still pacing around her office, none the wiser that she was about to have a fatal encounter with Deliah. It had been around 2 hours since her massacre had begun and the entire time Marjorie had been worrying about Reece. He had told her how strange Deliah was being but she never would have expected something like this to be happening. She had no idea that not only was the love of her life dead but the woman she liked to call her best friend was too. She would never see either of them ever again.
“Goodbye babies, we will be back soon!” Deliah said she left the office. She practically skipped down the hallway, her pigtails swinging around behind her. Deliah was still soaked in her victim's crimson art, she didn't have a care in the world. She was waving the Marjorie doll around in the air, as if she was trying to make the doll laugh.
As she reached Marjorie and Autumn's office she giggled to herself seeing Marjorie pacing around the room. She knew Marjorie was already on edge so she was going to surrender to her easily. Deliah reached into her pocket and opened the office door with the remote. Immediately Marjorie swung around to look at her and gasped in horror, “What are you doing Deliah? Why are you covered in blood?”
Deliah just giggled and shut the door behind her, gently placing down the porcelain doll on the shelf. Marjorie's eyes panned to the doll and she had a sudden realisation. “Is that a doll of me?” She gasped as she stared into Deliah's gleaming eyes. Deliah was just grinning at her, watching Marjorie cower away in fear. “Yes, that's baby Marjie!” Deliah finally giggled at her, breaking the silence. Marjorie was frozen in fear, she didn't know how to react in this situation.
“Where is Reece, Deliah?” Marjorie mumbled, she was too scared to speak at her normal volume. “Oh Reecey? He's in my office! I will take you to see him soon, don't you worry.” Deliah began manically laughing at the thought. She knew that the only way Marjorie would leave that office was enclosed in her doll.
Deliah reached into her pocket and began running her fingers along the cold silver blade of her knife. She was watching Marjorie back away into the corner out of fear, she found it very funny how she was so scared of being in her presence. She then pulled the knife out of her pocket and watched it glisten in the office light. Marjorie saw the knife and immediately began pleading with Deliah, “You don't have to do this Deliah, what do you want? Please don't hurt me.”
With a chuckle, Deliah began approaching Marjorie. “The mother hen. You do everything you possibly can to look after your staff but it's never enough is it? You always jump to conclusions and it ends in a lot of misunderstandings. Doesn't it?” Deliah said in her usual upbeat tone as she continued approaching Marjorie. “What are you talking about Deliah? Please don't hurt me.” Marjorie said as tears began forming in her eyes.
“What did my Mia ever do to you? You hate her. How do you hate a beautiful red haired goddess like my Mia? You are so horrible to her Marjorie. I'm not letting you hurt her ever again.” Deliah said coldly, her friendly demeanor finally slipping. As soon as she got close enough, she had Marjorie backed against the wall. She held the knife to her side and ran her fingers through Marjorie's hair. “It's a shame you are so horrible to my Mia, you are so cute Marjorie.” Deliah teased as she tucked Marjorie's hair behind her ear.
“Deliah, please don't.” Marjorie sobbed as she finally let her tears fall, she was petrified. “Shhh Marjorie it's okay! I'll make it quick.” Deliah smiled as she wiped Marjorie's tears that were rolling down her flushed cheeks. Deliah then raised the knife to Marjorie's chest, Marjorie immediately began pleading once again. “Deliah, please don't do this.” She choked out between her sobs. She was met once again by Deliah's hands running through the other side of her hair now, “I have to Marjorie, I'm so sorry. Baby Reecey misses you.” Deliah said as she gently began applying pressure onto the long silver blade that was slowly penetrating Marjorie's chest.
Marjorie immediately started crying out in pain and so Deliah just pushed the blade completely into her chest, she didn't want Marjorie to suffer too much. She pulled out the knife and helped Marjorie to the floor. For the first time in all her kills, Deliah felt the overwhelming urge to hold onto Marjorie as she slowly bled out. Marjorie was so motherly with everyone and it made Deliah want to mother her in her last moments. She hushed her as Marjorie cried out in pain, “It's okay Marjie, it will be over soon.” As Marjorie took her final breaths, Deliah planted a soft kiss onto her forehead. She didn't know why but she had such a deep connection to Marjorie. Despite the fact she knew Marjorie hated her, Deliah couldn't help but care about her.
For a while Deliah sat there, Marjorie's chest was no longer rising but she didn't want to move yet. When she did finally get out from under Marjorie she gently laid her completely onto the floor, stroking her hair one last time. “You have such pretty hair Marjorie, just like your doll.” She smiled as she approached the doll on the shelf once again, she took the doll into her arms and cuddled it into her chest. “Now I can look after you forever baby Marjie!” She giggled as she booped the doll's nose. “Let's go see Reecey! He's so excited to see you again!” Deliah said as she composed herself to leave the office. Her eyes darted one final time to look at Marjorie lying peacefully on the floor. She couldn't help but feel a deep desire to hold her on the floor again but she knew that wasn't a good idea. She couldn't get upset now, she still had so much left to do.
She slowly left the office, cradling the Marjorie doll in her arms. She slowly approached the office and all senses of negative emotions completely washed away. “Baby Reecey! She's here! I told you I'd get her for you. Now you can be together forever!” Deliah exclaimed as she skipped back into her office. She sat at her desk and took both the Reece and Marjorie dolls into her arms, humming to them.
THE MOTHER HEN
As we gather here together, we mourn a star that burned so bright
We weep as we realise, our Mother Hen has taken her last flightWe’ll always miss her laughter, her warmth and gentle way
Now and always, she’s in our hearts until our own last dayNow she’ll be with Reece again, their spirits intertwined
She can’t be without her love, their hearts were so alignedMarjorie, our guiding light, we’ll miss your loving, star filled eyes
Forevermore, when we need you, we’ll look up at twinkling skies🖤
