THEIR first day in Pond's grandparents house is fun. They harvested vegetables in his Grandma's garden, they also helped the old man fix some fences for his chickens and ducks. The house is made of woods, it's classic. If you'll look at it, you won't believe that it was owned by the richest family in Thailand. You can't see fancy things nor a shining chandelier. Everything is made of local. It made Phuwin respect them more.

Kun, Pond's grandfather brought them to his animal farm. He taught the two boys on how to feed them. Seeing sheep, goats, cow and horses makes Phuwin happy. They had their best time at the farm.

On the second day, Pond took Phuwin to fish and let the boy cast his own rod. They caught four fishes three for Pond and one for Phuwin. The boy is very proud of his fish that he insisted to clean and cook it. Pond noticed that his grandparents were livelier when they came, he knew that they are longing for their grandsons and his son just like how Pond and his brothers longing for their father. His grandparents never middled the company's business starts when Metawin handled it

They had enough trust for their grandsons to run and handle it well, not because they are well educated but because they raised them and knew what their grandsons capability.

On the third day, they rest and didn't do any activities. They were left in the house because the two old couple went to the town to buy groceries and necessities in the house.

While sitting on a bamboo sofa and watching a basketball replay on TV, Pond suddenly received a call from his brother, Metawin. He thought his brother was calling to check on their grandparents, but little did he know that Metawin had bad news.

"Hello, Phi" Pond greeted cheerfully.

On the other end, Metawin sighed before speaking. Just from the heavy breath of his brother, Pond sensed that something was wrong.

"Did you call to ask about grandma and grandpa? They're in town buying things right now but later they'll be here" Pond replied, his voice laced with innocence.

Metawin remained silent when his brother talked and let him finish before dropping the bomb.

"Listen to me, Pond. The hospital of Yangkhàn called to me that grandma and grandpa-----had an accident," Metawin said, his words crashing over Pond like a wave.

Pond's heart dropped. "What do you mean Phi? They're okay when they leave the house, how could-- ?" Panic began to rise within him.

He can hear his heartbeat, his ears filled with pounding sound that makes his head daze.

"They're at the hospital. It’s serious," Metawin continued, his voice trembling.

"I need you to stay calm. I’m on my way to meet them."

Pond felt cold sweat trickle down his back. "I’ll come too. Where are you?"

"Just stay home for now. Look for grandpa's animals, feed them for sure he wouldn't like it if they get starved. I’ll keep you updated. We need to figure this out." Metawin’s voice was firm but shaky, as if he was trying to hold himself together.

Pond dropped his phone, his mind racing. Memories of their grandparents filled his thoughts—laughter at family gatherings, their warm hugs, and the stories they told. He couldn’t bear the thought of anything happening to them. They were just smiling and laughing with them awhile ago but now this happened.

Phuwin who is watching his boyfriend crying, His heart twisted. Even though he's puzzled about what's happening but he already had a hunch in his mind that he's praying it wasn't true.

"Go Pond, grandma and grandpa needs you right now"  he said while caressing the boy's back

"But I can't leave you here alone"
