The story is inspired of me watching so many Chinese Drama series with CEOs haha 😆 so this story is born. I loved the whole idea of modern Wangxian family.

Wei Ying groaned as sunlight filtered through the curtains of the hotel room, his head pounding from the aftermath of the wedding reception. The night before had been a whirlwind of celebration, laughter, and too much alcohol. Shijie, Jiang Yanli, had finally married her beloved, and the entire Jiang family had reveled in the joyous occasion.

But as Wei Ying blinked his bleary eyes open, a strange feeling of dread began to settle in his chest. This wasn't his hotel room.

Panic surged through him as he bolted upright in the bed, heart racing. The silk sheets were unfamiliar, the decor far too elegant for the simple room he had been assigned. The memories of the previous night came rushing back, fragmented and hazy, but there was one thing he remembered clearly-the hotel room he had walked into wasn't his.

Wei Ying's eyes darted to the figure lying next to him. His breath caught in his throat as he recognized the man-Lan Zhan, the second heir of the prestigious Lan Corporation, also known as Hanguang-Jun in the business world. His expression, even in sleep, was as composed and stern as ever, but the sight of him only deepened Wei Ying's panic.

"Oh no," Wei Ying whispered, scrambling out of bed as quietly as he could. His clothes were strewn across the floor, a humiliating reminder of the reckless decisions he had made in his drunken state. He hastily gathered his things, every movement fueled by the desperate need to get out before Lan Zhan woke up and realized what had happened.

This couldn't be real. He couldn't have spent the night with *Lan Zhan*. The man was an enigma in their world-untouchable, distant, and absolutely not someone Wei Ying could afford to have a scandal with.

Once dressed, Wei Ying cast one last glance at the sleeping figure before slipping out of the room, his heart pounding in his chest. As soon as the door clicked shut behind him, he raced down the hall and into his own room, praying that Lan Zhan wouldn't remember him, wouldn't recall what they had done.

It was a mistake, a stupid one-night stand, nothing more. Wei Ying could forget it ever happened. He had to.

---

A month later, Wei Ying's world was turned upside down again. It had been a peaceful morning when he felt something strange. Nausea had been plaguing him for days, and at first, he chalked it up to stress. After all, keeping up appearances at Jiang Yanli's wedding and managing the expectations of Madam Yu, who never ceased to remind him that he was adopted, had taken its toll.

But when he collapsed one afternoon, Jiang Cheng insisted on taking him to the hospital. That was when the impossible happened.

"Pregnant?" Wei Ying's voice shook as he stared at the doctor, disbelief written all over his face. "That can't be possible. I'm... I'm a man!"

The doctor, however, looked at the test results with calm certainty. "It's rare, but you have a genetic condition that allows for pregnancy. It's a miracle, really."

Wei Ying's heart pounded in his ears. Pregnant. The reality crashed down on him like a wave. There was no denying what had happened, who the father was. Lan Zhan.

When Jiang Fengmian and Jiang Yanli found out, they were shocked but supportive. Even Jiang Cheng, who was always rough around the edges, promised to stand by Wei Ying. But Madam Yu... she had no sympathy.

"You've disgraced this family," she hissed, her voice cold as ice. "You're not even truly one of us. Pack your things and get out."

No amount of pleading from the rest of the family could soften her stance. Madam Yu's anger and disgust were too deep, and she wouldn't tolerate Wei Ying staying under her roof.

With nowhere else to turn, Wei Ying moved into one of the mansions he was set to inherit, away from the prying eyes of the world. His life had changed so suddenly-he was going to be a single parent, responsible for a child born from a night he desperately wanted to forget. Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli visited him regularly, bringing support and love, but the weight of his circumstances felt heavier each day.

Months passed, and eventually, Wei Ying gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Wei Yuan, whom he nicknamed Wei Shizhu and the youngest Wei Yang, whom he nicknamed Jingyi. They are Wei Ying's light in the midst of everything-a symbol of hope and new beginnings, even if those beginnings were born from chaos.

---

Meanwhile, Lan Zhan had been searching. He had spent months trying to find the man who had slipped out of his life as quietly as he had entered it. The moment Lan Zhan woke up that morning and realized his partner was gone, a strange sense of loss had settled over him.

He hadn't known the man's name, hadn't seen his face clearly in the dark, but one thing was certain-it wasn't a woman he had spent the night with.

Lan Zhan's mind replayed every detail of that night, every whispered word and fleeting touch. There had been something familiar about the man, something that tugged at the edges of Lan Zhan's memory. But no matter how hard he searched, the person remained elusive.

Still, Lan Zhan wasn't one to give up easily. He would find him, eventually. He had to.

Because even though they had been strangers in the night, something about that encounter had left a mark on him. And Lan Zhan wasn't someone who ignored such things.
