Haseena talking to someone on the call, "Aap chinta mat kijiye, sir. Aapke bete ko insaaf zaroor milega. Philhaal aap apne bete ke tabiyat ka dhyaan rakhiye. Aur kuch bhi zaroorat padi toh hume phone kijiyega."

The person on the other side thanks her, and she ends the call with a nod. It’s her new case: a rich, drunken man with no control over his speed has run his car into a young student. It’s not tough for that man to resolve the case within seconds, but there is HASEENA MALIK opposite him! She will not leave him easily.

Shivani is sitting in front of her with a pale face and is preparing some files.

"Kya hua?" Haseena asks her, "Chehra aise utar kyun gaya hain? John se jhagda ho gaya hain kya?"

Shivani looks at her and nods in no.

Haseena again asks, "Toh phir kya baat hain? Waise toh aapke muh par patti bhi chipka de toh usse bhi fadkar baat kar sakti hain aap. Phir aaj itni gumsum kyun? Yeh udaasi ki wajah jaan sakte hain hum?"

Shivani smiles slightly and replies, "Udaas nahi hain, di. Bas fikr hoti hain aapki. Ek toh waise hi Ammi tabiyat ko lekar aap pareshaan hain. Upar se ab yeh case aa gaya hain. Di, aapko nahi lagta ki aapko thoda rest ki zaroorat hain?"

Haseena smiles at her. Shivani is like a younger sister to her. She truly cares for her. Haseena answers, "Rest toh hum karte hain naa... Aur itna karte hain ki humari har subah Ammi ke daant se shuruwat hoti hain."

Shivani rolls her eyes, "Haseena Madam, rest ka matlab sirf nind hi nahi hota ji. Main physical aur mental health ke baare mein baat kar rahi hoon. Aap khud sochiye, di... Subah se lekar sham tak aapka schedule itna tight rehta hain. Upar se Ammi ki tabiyat ka tension. Aapko nahi lagta ki aapko inn sabse chhota sa hi sahi par ek brake chahiye?"

Before Haseena can say anything, Ammi replies coming with three cups of tea in her hands, "Bilkul sahi kaha tumne, Shivu. Iss moti buddhi mein toh koi baat jaldi ghusti nahi hain. Ek tum hi humari samajhdaar bachchi ho. Isse toh hum samjha samjha kar thak gaye ki thoda aaram karle. Kanhi ghum ke aa. Apne deemag ko thoda shanti de. Par yeh hain ki kuch sun-ne ko taiyyar hi nahi."

(Bas aise parents ki tamanna rehti hain jo bole ki "jaa beti, kanhi ghum ke aa...)

Haseena replies lazily, "Ammi, aapko pata hain naa ki humse ghar mein ek kamre se dusre kamre tak chala nahi jaata. Aap kanha kanhi ghumke aane ki baat kar rahi hain? Humse nahi ho paayega yeh."

Ammi hits her forehead, "Dusro ki ladkiyan bahar ghumne jaane ke liye apne maa baap se ladti hain. Aur ek humari hain! Ek number ki aalsi. Chal, kanhi ghumne ka chhod. Tu apna mann kuch dino ke liye koi aur cheeze samajhne mein laga. Isse sikhne ko bhi milaga aur teri routine life se tujhe break bhi milega. Tu ek kaam kyun nahi karti? Tu khana banana seekh le. 1 Mahina humari shagird (student) ban jaa. Dekh tujhe kaise mahir banate hain hum. Kal ko jaakar teri shaadi hogi toh sasural wale toh yeh hi kanhenge ki teri Ammi ne kuch sikhaya hi nahi."

Haseena irritatingly replies, "Ammi, hum dheere dheere hi sahi par sikh rahe hain naa khana banana. Aur aap please yeh Anu ki tarah baatein mat kariye. Kal woh bhi yanha aake yeh hi sab keh rahe the ki khana banana sikhlo warna sasural wale taane denge."
