Naruto sat by the campfire, the flickering flames dancing across his face as he gazed into the night sky. His mission had taken him far from Konoha, and the solitude was a welcome respite.

As he stared into the darkness, his thoughts drifted to Sakura. Their marriage had been a whirlwind. He was confused.

At first, Naruto's distance had been a self-imposed barrier, protecting himself from the pain of their complicated past. But Sakura's gentle persistence and genuine affection had slowly chipped away at his defenses.

Their first kiss still lingered in his mind. Forgiveness had washed over him as he held her close, their bodies entwined in a tender, passionate embrace.

Yet, as Naruto reflected on his life, the costs of their union weighed heavily on his heart

Hinata's passing, the love they shared, and the memories they'd built, Sakura's 15-year relationship with Sasuke, the scars she bore, and the love she'd once proclaimed for another man.

A pang of insecurity struck Naruto. Did Sakura truly love him, or was she seeking solace in his arms after Sasuke's toxic grasp?

"Does she see me, or just the comfort." Naruto wondered, his brow furrowed in concern.

He knew he was at wrong side for still doubting on her but he didn't wanted to get hurt again. No matter how much he tried or how much patient he had been and at the end he suffered, he suffered a lot.

The fire crackled, and Naruto's thoughts continued to swirl.

He had accepted her, flaws and all, just as Tsunade advised. But was his love enough to erase the ghosts of her past?

As the night wore on, Naruto's introspection deepened. He realized that his doubts stemmed from fear - fear of being hurt again, fear of not being enough.

Naruto's gaze remained fixed on the twinkling stars, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Hinata, is that you?"

The silence was palpable, but in his mind, Hinata's gentle smile materialized.

"What am I doing, Hinata?" Naruto's voice cracked.

In his imagination, Hinata's soft voice responded, "I don't know but I think you are happy, Naruto-kun."

Naruto's eyes welled up with tears.

"But it feels wrong," he confessed.

Hinata's imagined presence drew closer, her ethereal voice soothing.

"How are the kids doing ?"

Naruto's eyes welled up anew, memories of Boruto and Himawari flooding his mind.

"They're growing up so fast," he whispered.

"How's Himawari ?" She stroked his head.

He closed his eyes. "She is having the best time, She loves Sakura.

"And you, Naruto? Don't you love also her too?"

Naruto's gazed dropped.

"Hinata... I do."

Hinata's laughter echoed in his mind, warm and comforting.

"I know, Naruto. It's okay to love again."

Naruto's voice barely rose above a whisper.

"Am I hurting you ?"

"You aren't?"

"I moved on so quick."

"You had your reasons, I never wanted our children to grow without a mother."

"I feel sleepy." He said rubbing his eyes.

Naruto always had a scarf, made by Hinata. Whenever he missed her he used put it on his neck. With the scarf he lied in the cave. With the scarf he felt lying on her laps.

His relationship with Hinata was a lot different than Sakura. No matter how much he tried to return everything it always felt less. He never understood why she loved him so much. He loved him when he was hated, when people were distant. He still remember the days when every girl was obsessed over Sasuke except her. He was dense he regretted not noticing her. When they were finally married he felt complete. The years he spent with her is his happiest. He always thought being Hokage was his first priority, it was dream, he dreamt of being respected. He wanted honour. But with Hinata's interference in the chapters of his life, everything shifted to second. The way she treated him frustrated her. He felt he never deserved her. Why was she so perfect ? She never lacked in their relationship and he always did. "I love you Hinata.." he said closing his eyes.

Sakura

Sakura began her day, ensuring the children were ready for their ninja training. She made breakfast, helped Boruto with his tie, and styled Himawari's hair.

After seeing Boruto off to his training, Sakura focused on her daily chores: laundry, cleaning, and gardening. She tended to the flowers Naruto had planted for Hinata, maintaining the beautiful memorial.

During her lunch break, Sakura visited the market, purchasing fresh vegetables for dinner. She exchanged warm smiles with the vendors, who now knew her as Naruto's wife.

Upon returning home, Sakura started dinner preparations. She chopped vegetables, her mind wandering to Naruto's mission.

"Mommy Sakura, can I help?" Boruto asked, entering the kitchen with Himawari

Sakura smiled. "Of course, kids. Let's make dinner together."

As they cooked, Sakura's thoughts drifted to Naruto's safety and their complicated past.

Sasuke

Sasuke Uchiha stood alone, gazing out at the moonlit landscape, his eyes reflecting the emptiness within. Months had passed since his divorce from Sakura, yet the weight of his mistakes still lingered. Life was being cruel to him, everything started reminding him of Sakura, the dreams, memories, past...everything revolved around Sakura. For the first time after many years he had cried, he couldn't bear the thought that she was not with him in reality, as he woke up after having his dream, he had held her hands, told her that he loves her back, the place where she didn't fear him, the place where she was comfortable but as soon as he realised that it was a dream, tears were flowing from his cheeks, he screamed. But no one was with him to hear his screams, he was alone he felt alone.

He thought back to the days when Sakura's love for him burned bright. She had given him everything, her heart, her soul. But he had taken it for granted, never truly reciprocating her feelings.

Sasuke's thoughts tormented him
"Why didn't I cherish it?"

He remembered Sakura's smiles, her laughter, her tears. He recalled the countless times she had stood by him, supported him, loved him unconditionally.

Her words still echoed in his ears.
"I love you Sasuke-kun."
"I am sorry I will try to be normal. From now on I will try to be however you want me to."
"We have married for many years and we never did...it..you know. Ok fine I will wait for the right time."
"Seeing you hurts. You should go on easy missions, look at these wounds, what if something happens to you, what about me ?"
"Have you ever, even for a short time, had your hear fluttered for me ? Ever ?"

Now, she was gone. Married to Naruto, having her life with him and his children. Even his own daughter didn't wanted to be with him that's how bad of a father and husband he was.

He wanted her back, he wanted his family back. But it was too late... and he knew she would never forgive him...never ever.
