Hey, my lovelies. I'm back with something a little different. This time it's Tarasia and their bestie, Danielle. Sisterhood is a beautiful thing. Enjoy!
During life's highs and lows, hurts and happiness, a sister is always there. You don't have to be linked by blood but by a shared connection—a bond that may bend but can never be broken. Sisterhood is the foundation of life, and once you're in, you'll never be alone again.
Fantasia Monique Barrino was a talented soul. She played and composed music like nobody else could. She had goals and aspirations, but life got in the way. She ditched her plans and made new ones. She was in love; she had been for a long time. So she married her high school sweetheart and decided to start a family. But that family never came. What did come was mistress after mistress calling her home and hanging up when she answered. Her husband Kendall had become a serial cheater.
Taraji Penda Henson had been born fearless. She was a spitfire from the time she learned to talk and a force to be reckoned with. She never made it a habit to try to please anyone. Life was a privilege, so Taraji lived freely with no regrets. Happiness was her goal, and she often threw caution to the wind. Her free-spiritedness was what people loved most about her. Home life had not been kind to her as a child, but she never let anyone steal her joy. Helping others became Taraji's life's purpose, starting with always having her best friends' backs.
Danielle Brittany Brooks came from a broken home. She never knew her father, and her mother was cruel. In life, Danielle's mother left her with scars, and in death, she left her with a stepfather who didn't know how to keep his hands to himself. After her mother's funeral, she met two girls that would change the trajectory of her life forever. She still remembered Taraji threatening her stepdad. "If you don't want that hand broken, you better get it up off her." Taraji had even stripped out of her dress to beat his ass. From that day on, Taraji and Fantasia became her lifelines.
The women fought like cats and dogs, but what sisters didn't? They all tended to be blunt as hell—a quality that would usually scare people off, but it only brought them closer together. They were locked in. No matter how bad their fights got, they always made their way back to each other. They were a tremendous source of emotional support for one another.

Fantasia, Taraji, and Danielle sat in their normal booth of the cafe they basically grew up in. The ladies met up here every week for a nice meal and a slice of pie. The owner, Colman, was the father that neither of them ever had. He watched out for them; he nurtured them, but most of all, he loved them. He and his husband had made them family, and their adopted son Corey became the annoying little brother that the girls never asked for.
