THE HARGREEVES FAMILY looked at the girl, perplexed. Questions came flooding inside their heads while they watched a middle-aged man be frightened by a tired girl who looked as old as Number Five's physical age.

Speaking of Number Five, he was even more shocked to see her again on the very same night that they met. It made him certain that she's not someone he met by coincidence. She definitely has something to do with us, he thought.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Allison was the first to break the confusing silence, averting Y/N's attention from the man she confiscated the gun from.

Shortly after she took out the bullet from the magazine, Y/N turned to her with a smile that showed the least bit of enthusiasm, "Hi, I'm his real first kidnap," She answered, "It's nice to know he finally got what he wanted from his methods." She nodded, preventing herself from getting emotional as she began looking at each of their faces, regardless of the bewilderment written all over each of them.

"Y/N, hey!" Grossman drawled, making her turn to him once more. However, it was evident from her look that she was no longer trying hard to put up a kinder expression. "W-What are you doing here?" He laughed nervously.

"Don't get your hopes up, gross man. I won't be long. I forgot my keys and I'm just here to get them, so..." Y/N trailed off as she looked around for said keys, "Where are they?" She asked Grossman, whose body language was failing to coordinate with his words.

"Keys? I don't know what--"

"Listen," all of a sudden, the tone of her voice no longer showed any kindness, "I had a very long day and all I wanna do right now is to go home without dealing with alternative transportations. So, please, quit lying and give me my keys before I give you a painful chin reveal, gross man."

Sy Grossman began to stumble back as the girl started to sneer at him. "It's Grossman." He sputtered. He wondered why time suddenly felt as if it was tormenting him by its slow pace.

That is, until he heard someone whistle from the family's direction. "Hey," Y/N heard Diego call out, "These your keys?" He asked after Y/N turned to him as he let them dangle once he picked it up from the top of a random dryer machine.

Y/N nodded at him once, "Throw them here, will ya?" She beckoned, readying herself to catch it by unclenching her palms.

Much obliged, Diego tossed the keys to her, letting them land on her palms spot on. After thanking the still-confused Diego, Y/N clipped its carabiner hook through her belt loop as she looked at Sy once more, "See, was that so hard?" She asked rhetorically. "Now, I believe you guys still got some things to discuss amongst yourselves, so I'll make myself scarce. Good night, everyone."

Aghast, Viktor's abductor watched Y/N place his gun on top of the dryer next to him before she went to go straight for the main exit. Grossman never thought his back-up plan to make her stay would go sideways that easily.

"W-Wait!" He hastily tried to stop the girl. Unfortunately, she wasn't having any of it.

"I said, good night, Grossman." She preceded.

She didn't plan on halting her steps no matter how much Sy Grossman begged. Her heart was still set on going home rather than attempting to embrace her family who didn't even remember her and could potentially see her as a threat. Knowing that they were doing well even without her felt that it was the only thing that mattered. And so, there was no point in staying, right?

However, Grossman was quick enough to stand in her way. He remained persistent, despite the way Y/N was glowering at him. "Please, I won't take much of your time." He insisted, "This might be the only chance I have to get all of you to be here -- the Umbrella Academy."
