The spacious classroom buzzed with anticipation as young Cybertronians and Equestrians filled the rows of desks, waiting for the class of Professor Luna to begin. The room was an intriguing blend of high-tech equipment and ancient magical artifacts, reflecting the unique nature of the academy where both science and sorcery coexisted.
At the back of the room, Bumblebee sat alone on the last double desk, reading from the student's book to occupy his time while the others chatted among themselves. Despite his attempt to remain inconspicuous, he couldn't escape the attention of a few females from both species sitting a couple of rows ahead.
"Isn't that Bumblebee?" the first one whispered as she glanced over her shoulder at the solitary figure, "He's even cuter in person!"
"I know, right?" agreed the second girl, "Do you think he's single?" she asked curiously.
Another one giggled, glancing at him once more before leaning closer to her friends, "If he is, then maybe one of us should try talking to him. I mean, how often do you get a chance to chat with someone like him?"
The other girl blushed even more, "I don't know... what would I even say? He's so cool and I'd probably just embarrass myself."
"Come on-" her friend encouraged, "He's just another student like us. Start with a simple 'hi' or ask about his day."
But before one of them could even approach him, the classroom door creaked open and everyone turned to see Fluttershy standing timidly in the doorway. The shy, soft-spoken girl froze, her delicate long hair cascading over one shoulder as she nervously glanced around the room. Her wide gaze locked onto Professor Luna, who was already preparing to start the lesson. The sudden attention from her classmates made Fluttershy shrink back slightly.
Professor Luna focused her attention to her and offered a reassuring smile, "Come in, Miss Fluttershy. You're just in time. Please, take your seat." Fluttershy nodded, her gaze darting around the room in search of an empty spot. However, the classroom was already packed, with nearly every seat occupied by eager students.
Bumblebee was watching with curiosity as he observed Fluttershy from his seat, his gaze lingering longer than intended. But just as thoughts swirled in his processor, her eyes suddenly met his. The boy felt his circuits jolt as if caught off guard by a surge of energy. Not wanting to make the situation awkward or draw any more attention to himself, he quickly averted his gaze as he pretended to focus intently on the notes in front of him. His usually confident demeanor faltered as he fumbled to regain his composure, mentally cursing himself for being so obvious.
While feeling a bit embarrassed, he could only hope that she didn't think he was staring at her for too long. The last thing he wanted was to make her uncomfortable or think he was being weird.
