Lloyd catched up with Xenia, walking in the darkness of the freezing cold Never Realm. The sky was clear and the stars shining dimly, making it harder to see anything without proper lighting.

Leaving footsteps on the snow covered ground, the green elemental took a quick glance at the female walking beside him. Dressed in a dark jeans and green hoodie. Her hands stuffed in her pockets and her hair tied up high.

To be honest, it reminded him a bit of Harumi.

She smiled innocently while walking. Something must be on her mind. "Wanna tell me what you're thinking about?" His voice brought her back to reality as she suddenly looked at him, puzzled, before she remembered what his question was. "Oh, umm. Nothing" A slight blush crept upon her face. Luckily for her it was middle of the night and to dark for Lloyd to notice.

"Okay then. Where are you taking me?"

"You're following me, remember?"

"Yeah... Right." Rubbing the back of his neck nervously, he laughed a bit. His tension eased as he heard her laughing too. "But to answer your question. Were heading for the village. There's a traditional event going on and I wanted to see it. They say it's with fireworks" her eyes lit up a bit. "Oh wow. But since when are you answering my questions?" He asked playfully as her answers are either shortcuted or just countering.

Xenia shrugged at his remark, "Guess we're improving" A smile appeared on Lloyds lips. "Does that mean we're friends?" A hint of excitement in his voice. She looked at him, thinking about it for a second. "Maybe"

His smile turned into a frown. But as he saw the challenging look on her face he knew what was going on. "Oh, you wanna play? Bet"

Xenia cocked brow. "What can I do to help making your decision?"

"Is Lloyd Garmadon tempting to be friends with me?" The smirk on her face signed her in the tonights game. A game just for fun. How ironic.

"I don't know. Maybe"

"Why is that?"

"Why is what?"

"Oh come on" she hit against his arm playfully and he snickers. Holding his palms up he answered, "Okay okay. I'll stop."

By the time they reached the village. As expected, it was decorated in bright colours. Lanterns hung above their heads and children were running along with some sticks in their hands. Everyone was wearing a traditional attire except the visitors of another realm. Ninjago. Lloyd and Xenia were walking across the street as an idea popped into his head. "How about a little game?" This drew Xenias attention. "You think battling is not enough?" Furrowing her brows he shook his head, "Not battle. Just a game for fun. Maybe you consider us as friends by sunrise" he replied as they walked through the centre of the village. A large fire was placed in the middle and garlands hung around the houses.

Xenia gave eventually in, "What are you thinking about" looking up at him curiously, she leaned against his shoulder smoothly. Lloyd smiled, "Both of us have 5 questions. Not more, not less. You have to answer them truthfully and there are no other options." Lloyd suggested as she thought about his idea.

It was risky, one wrong question and she'd tell to much. But saying no would leave suspicion either. Weighting her options, she sighed. "I'm in. But you go first."

"As you wish Xenia"

A warm feeling overcame her. Maybe it's just the fire next to them. They are standing really close to it. Suddenly Lloyd started moving, leaving her unaware and tripping, nearly falling at the ground. But she didn't. Before she could hit the ground she got pulled up by a strong hand. The green ninja chuckled, "Guess I just saved you"
