from the mist, admiral Poquetoire saw the enemy ship fire from 15km away, he scoffed at their stupidity, then this happened the impossible happened

"they want us to pull back!" said the admiral
"what? such arrogance!" said the first mate
Admiral Poquetoire was silent before he spoke again
"the ships Tirpitz and Graf Daun want us to turn back, they do seem like the warships of Mu ,but much bigger and heavily armed, we  can't beat them unless we get closer, break the tears of the wind god and try to surround those ships"
"yes sir!" said the crew
as he looked back at the grey ship they already closed the distance by 8km already, could it be that they are much faster than his own ships without magic?

"The enemy fired again!" said an crewmate
"already, they are reloading much faster than the Dios III! how?" said the admiral

This time 4 of his ships were hit and sunk by the salvo from the Tirpitz and exploded and vanished in the vast ocean
"turn back or be sunk , The Tirpitz and the Graf daun will follow you till you leave the waters of Fenn" it flashed again
"order the fleet to turn back! now the enemy possess Muan technology, we can't win now, Bring reinforcements later" he said
"you win, we retreat" said the admiral messaging the enemy with an mirror and an torchlight he got
"damn it !  if we had an dragon carrier and maybe more ironclads we might have won the battle!" said the admiral to himself
the admiral would fake most of the report as no one would believe that 2 ships can face  an entire fleet of 22 ships on it's own and come out on top due to this the admiral heavily fabricated the report, this was the first naval clash between the empire and the central powers resulting in an imperial defeat and lost 6 ships to none from the enemies, This was shocking as Parlpadia never lost any battles except the civil war in 1601.
