Finally An Empty Nest

                                    

                                          
Anastasia 
Allen , Andrew and Madison have joined the workforce at GEH and they are have moved into Christian's old penthouse after major updating and renovation work for the complete building since he owns it all. Rose has an apartment that has been a security risk so we get her in there as well. Alyssa moved in with her grandma Carla and grandpa Steele to help care for them as she studies to become a general surgeon. She has studied to also work as an oncologist as well. It's hard to live without all the kids here and we are thinking of bringing more children in and helping them through their cancer as well. Now if we can just find the right people to treat them and help them through it all. I think Christian is thinking of donating the house like Elliott did. Kate and Elliott really found a good couple to take over the place and made sure they were trustworthy and could endure everything that went with ill children.
Christian 
Rose has offered to take over our place and I agreed to it. Mom contacted a few people that were looking to help out. The Londons sent a few of their trainees. Mia helped her get things settled. We could afford to help with everything. Ray and Carla played mr and mrs Santa Claus along with mom and dad. They visited foster children and had a party for them and brought them in by whatever means they could find. They had them in rotations to get as many kids gifts for Christmas something other than clothing and shoes and shoestrings and other things. 
Elliott
Kate and I want to keep helping the children but we also want time alone together. So we decided to move into Escala along with other family members. Christian and Anastasia took the first floor apartment and we took the one above them. It has nearly everything to keep in shape. Ava, Alyssa and Madison are living in the penthouse with Allen and Andrew. They decided to play a card game to see who got what room. It was funny to watch it. I decided it was taking too long so I put pieces of paper with the numbers on each piece and number one gets first choice and so on and so forth until they each had a room. 
Kate
I was enjoying living in an apartment in Escala, Elliott made sure that we had the best place. Not the penthouse but we combined two apartments into one. Staff was given space as well. A third apartment was used for household staff. Christian and Anastasia took the bottom two floors of the building. The gym stays open 24/7 so whenever we get the urge to swim, workout, have a sauna use a hot tub it's all there for us. A masseuse is available but they have set hours and they have busy schedules. I really enjoy living close to work. We are hoping that our children get married soon because mom wants great grandchildren. She's nagging me about not having any and I inform her it's not my responsibility to give her great grandchildren it's my children's responsibility to do that. Elliott hands her the phone and tells her to gripe to her grandchildren and see where it gets her. Not sure about the family can deal with being so close in proximity and not want to meddle in each other's lives. 
Ray
Alyssa makes sure we are well cared for as well as Anastasia and Christian. Landon, Theodore, Phoebe, Madison, Allen and Andrew come over to assure we are okay as well. Colleen is helping with her siblings and working hard to get her medical licenses. We are still enjoying being outside. But Carla has panic attacks if a stranger approaches her. We are still working on that. 
Carla
We missed out on so much of Anastasia's life and her children's lives. I can't wait for great grandchildren. Landon is our only married grandchild. We missed their infancy well some of the last three babies. Anastasia and Christian did a good thing for a lot of children. They don't like being acknowledged for it unless it helps get others involved in helping out. Money is beneficial but it's people who truly want to love and care for the children that they hope to get. We get all kinds of visits from the family. But I guess we aren't the only ones getting visits all the older family members get visited and they bring goodies to us and do errands and chores for all of us. 
Grace
We thought we would enjoy peace and quiet after retiring boy did we find out how wrong we were. All our family keep visiting and running errands and doing chores for us. We have people to handle all that stuff. We aren't the only ones though. All of us are getting visits from our family members and not just us but our in laws as well. I think they believe we can't do things for ourselves. So we decided to give them tedious tasks to do. 
Carrick
I watch as they mow the lawns and plant the flowers and trim hedges. They picked up limbs and put them in the bin to shred. We put these kids to work since they thought we couldn't do it ourselves. We pay people to do these jobs that we can't do. They made food and froze it for us to heat up later. We have people who already do the cooking and they were worried that we were about to terminate them. We had to assure them that wasn't the case and if so there is a long list of our friends and family who want them to work for them and there would be a bidding war to get them. 
Enid
Kate and Ethan and their children are driving us crazy by coming to the house and doing things that we have staff being paid for and they are highly trained to handle the jobs. I had to stop them before they ruined everything. Plus the staff nearly quit n us. 
Eamon 
Grrrrrrr I love my family but they have no idea how to work on my cars so they should leave them alone. We have a mechanic that keeps our vehicles running like a top. We had to lock the garage and prevent them from going inside the work shed and garage. We finally told them to just visit us and tell us when we can expect great grandchildren lol.
