Jeonghan opened the Notification Center.
12 missed calls. All from his parents.
As he sat in the break zone at his friends' company he observed the pictures hung on the wall. Among these, one stood out the most to Jeonghan.
It was the one the thirteen of them took when they went on a trip to Jeju Island and Seungkwan showed them his native town. Dated to three years prior, that core memory held a special place in all the boys' hearts.
He stared at the framed photograph for quite a while and a soft smile escaped his emotionless face.
Jeonghan sighed as he sipped on his cold beer.
He was conflicted. His mind spiraled with countless thoughts as he drank the last beer.
He quickly slammed it on the table and brushed his mouth with the side of his wrist.
Jeonghan's spiraling mind began to merge into a confused one.
Panic surged through him as his heart pounded against his ribs.
A wave of dizziness washed over him, threatening to pull him under.
He closed one eye to figure what was going on, but needless to say, Jeonghan's dizziness wasn't going away.
He was sitting so there was no reason his head would spin like that, he thought.Jeonghan attempted to fix his posture, but neither that could be helpful to the boy.
His vision swam, the world tilting precariously. A cold sweat broke out on his brow as he eventually let go.
He slowly closed his eyes.
A corner of his mouth raised as an image of a beautiful guy appeared in his head.
His soft silky hair enhanced the beautiful soft features. A soft breeze of wind swept and danced through his hair.
A younger Joshua seemed to come to Jeonghan's mind.
A reminder of a youth yet to discover.A faint smile plastered on his face soon began to fade.
Jeonghan's head rested on his forearm, his fingers whitening and his body betrayed him as he reminisced that image of the younger boy one last time.
Jeonghan's skin was pale and clammy, his breathing shallow and irregular. The only movement came from the gentle rise and fall of his chest, a stark contrast to the stillness that surrounded him in that break room.
Some time passed before anyone realized Jeonghan had collapsed on the chair.
The four of them rushed to the recreation room.
Time seemed to have stopped as they observed Jeonghan unresponsive in front of them.
"Jeonghanni hey ... wake up" Seungcheol bent down in front of Jeonghan, he started slapping the younger quite hard.
But nothing.
Jeonghan wasn't responding in any way.
Behind Seungcheol stood Dino, Wonwoo and Dokyeom. All of them appeared very concerned about what was going on.
As Seungcheol observed around them, four pints of beer stood on the table. He sighed as he realized how many beers Jeonghan had in such brief time."He- He was doing just fine... I... I-" Wonwoo attempted to form a sentence but he was too worried. Too worried it was his fault for leaving Jeonghan there and for not letting anyone else, aside from Mingyu, know.
"Wonwoo it's not your fault hey" Seungcheol reassured the younger.
"Dokyeom, can you please call an ambulance" Seungcheol asked. His concerned voice sounded so different from the usual one.
