I have a stiff neck and I'm sick so writing this chapter was like torture...
..."It’s as if I've been blessed by the gods with another opportunity, as if my beautiful princess has come back.”
…That sent chills down my back. Does he realize just how much weight what he said holds?
No, he doesn't know that I've been reincarnated. There is no way that he knows. These are just the wishes of a lonely man.
Now it makes sense why he jumped in to save me without any hesitation. He must have thought I was his daughter or maybe he just saw his daughter in me.
But what I found odd was how he said ‘your expressions’ when talking about the similarities between me and his daughter.
Because of my ability, I was basically emotionless on the outside. So how is it that he finds my nonreactive expressions familiar?
Was his daughter also like me? Is this the reason why he has been able to tell what I was thinking all this time, because he is used to it?
Could it be that… This ability of mine isn't actually mine?
“Ah, sorry for saying that, little miss. I know that you aren't her. You would've recognized me immediately if you were.”
That's right… He isn't- I mean, sure, I don't remember my dad, but I wasn't Japanese… I think. Shit, I really have trouble remembering.
Could this man’s daughter really be related to what happened to me? After all, we both died by falling off a bridge, although mine was a bit different since the bridge fell with me, but that doesn't matter.
First, she was my age.
Second, she looked exactly like me, or at least that is what mr. Hiro says.
Third, she fell off a bridge and presumably drowned, just like me.
Fourth, she died two years ago, and I can't remember anything from two years ago. I can only remember the last two years, when I began watching and reading bungou stray dogs. Further than that, my memory is hazy.
I don't even remember where I was from, nor why I wanted to die after finishing my booklist.
This is… Too confusing for me. I’ll think about this later. After all, there is no way that I'm actually related to that girl.
I'm sure this is just a very odd coincidence. Yeah, it must be so. I was born in a world where this is all just an anime, so there is no way I can be related to her.
But could it be… Could it be that there was someone exactly like me here? What are the chances? While I was lost in my thoughts, Mr. Hiro had already stood up, getting ready to leave.
“I shouldn't bother you anymore. But if you ever need someone to talk to, I will always be here.” with that, he walked towards the door. “Thank you…” I managed to utter before he left the room.
Mr. Hiro… He is a good guy, one that can somehow tell what I am thinking despite my unchanging expressions. And his daughter… I’ll think about this later.

○The next day, I woke up feeling more refreshed than ever. I really needed that break, not just from work but also from seeing Dazai and Chuuya.
Everyday, they remind me of how this world is nothing but an anime and how I’m living amongst characters. Actually, maybe I am the character there, the odd one, the singularity, not them.
