I jumped up out of bed, I think. Was this even my bed? I looked beside me and there was Morgan. He was cuddling me and had his shirt and pants off. Shit did I sleep with Morgan? I panicked a little. I saw the clock and it read 9am. I was late for work. I looked at my phone and saw Mandy was blowing up my phone.
Mandy Bandy👯‍♀️🫀🫶🏾: girl where are you???
Mandy Bandy👯‍♀️🫀🫶🏾: are you still over at Morgan's house 😏😏😏?
Mandy Bandy👯‍♀️🫀🫶🏾: please answer me. I'm worried!!!
Mandy Bandy👯‍♀️🫀🫶🏾: if you come in late today, I told James that you had to make sure your dad was ok and your dad's under the weather. He said it's ok.
I shut off my phone and quickly tried to find my shoes.
"Shit," I cursed to myself.
Morgan was still soundly asleep and was snoring a little. How cute I thought to myself.
"Morgan," I whispered loudly. "Wake up."
He groaned and turned to the other side.
"Morgan," I said raising my voice which woke up him up.
"What?" He mumbled.
"I need a ride to work," I said. "Please I'm late."
Morgan rubbed his eyes and sighed.
He got up and put some pants and a shirt on.
"I'll take you," he said.
After that, he offered the bathroom to shower, brush my teeth, and put on a fresh set of clothes for work. I didn't really have to do as much or dress professionally because it was a comfortable workplace. I put on one of Morgan's old shirts and the jeans I was wearing last night. After we were done Morgan went to go wake up Indigo because you can't leave a kid here by himself.
He got Indigo ready and we were in the truck.

"How'd you like the stay?" Morgan asks me.
Indigo was asleep in my arms while Morgan was driving.
"It was ok," I said. "Your bed's comfortable."
"Thanks," he said. "You want breakfast?"
"No, they serve it at the place," I said.
"Ok suit yourself."
After a couple minutes later, Morgan finally pulled up to my workplace. I quickly got out the car. Indigo started crying because I was leaving.
"Aww don't worry Indigo, I'll be back," I said in a soothing tone.
"You promise?" He sniffed and stuck out his pinky.
"I promise," I said interlocking his pinky with mines. "Thanks Morgan."
"No problem," he said.
He sped off in his truck and I rushed inside.
I saw James and I greeted him. He seemed to be in a happy mood.
"Sorry I'm late," I said.
"No problem, I admire how you put family first," he says. "Is he feeling ok?"
"Yes he is, he just had a bad cold," I said with a sweet smile.
"Good good!" He says. "You're interviewing Zach Bryan today by the way. And since I have a dressing room, you can borrow something nice in there."
He was the best boss I could ask for. Seriously.
I quickly went to the dressing room and someone was waiting there with an outfit in hand.
"Here you go," the lady said.
"Thank you so much," I said and quickly rushed to a changing room.
When I got done with my outfit, I admired myself in the mirror. She gave me a stylish jersey and some long shorts. I was in awe because this is my favorite outfit. When I came out and into the studio I had a makeup lady do my makeup.
Mandy stood next to me and waited.
"So," Mandy said. "Tell me everything did you two you know-"
"No we didn't," I said.
The makeup lady was done and gave me a sweet smile. I thanked her.
"So what happened?" She asked me.
"Nothing, we just watched a movie with his kid and we slept in bed with each other."
"Were you two cuddling?"
"When we woke up we were."
"When's the next time you're going over there?"
"Soon," I said and winked.
"Ooo you lucky girl," she said and laughs. "We're interviewing Zach Bryan today."
"Who is that?" I asked her.
"A country singer, he's like...hot," Mandy says.
"You think everyone's hot," I said.

After that, someone handed me a script to read so I can ask Zach Bryan these questions. He finally walked in. He was wearing a white shirt, with a jacket. He was somewhat cute. He sat beside me in a chair and gave me a smile. He smelt of faint cigarettes with strong but faint cologne. He gave me a smile and nodded.
"Names Zach," he says. "You're that new interview girl I reckon."
"Yes my names Alyssa," I introduced myself.
"Cameras rolling in 5...4...3...2," the director shouted.
I started interviewing Zach and the interview went smooth. I asked him the usual questions like what's your past like? How'd you start your career? Love life? Etc.
After we were done, Zach turned to me and started talking.
"So Alyssa," Zach says. "You look pretty."
"Thank you," I said.
"So," he said and twiddled with his fingers. "This weekend I'm having a party for my album. Sorta like a listening party everyone's welcome."
"I'll think about it," I said.
"You can invite your friend. It'd be a shame if you ain't go," he pouted a little.
"Alright I'll go," I said giving in.
"Great! Party starts at 7PM. I'll give you the address just give me your phone number."
I exchanged my phone number with Zach. He txted the address to me and put his name in.
After that, he chatted with me a little and left. I can't believe a country singer invited me to their party.
