Meanwhile, Alexandria and Daniel were left behind, their hearts heavy with worry for Blade and Alina. They had been separated from their friends by Frost and Quinn, who had taken them to a different room in the dark underground facility. As they sat in silence, the only sound the faint moans and shuffling of the creatures below, they knew they were in a dangerous situation. Frost began to explain to them about the experiments that were being conducted in the facility, about the creation of zombie-vampire hybrid creatures.

Alexandria and Daniel listened intently, their faces pale with shock and horror at the thought of such abominations being brought into existence. "How could he do this?" Alexandria whispered, her voice trembling with anger and disgust. These creatures are an affront to nature, a perversion of everything that is good and pure. Frost and Quinn laughed callously at her words, their eyes glinting with a sick amusement. "It happens sometimes after we bite them." Frost explained nonchalantly. "They get all tripped out and turn into these things. Pretty cool, right?" Quinn laughed, his eyes gleaming with a twisted delight.
