NIRVAAN'S POV:-
Manav kept pointing out how cute Kanika was, describing her expressions and what she was doing. So, I decided to take a closer look at her for the first time.
He kept telling me how great Kanika was, so I encouraged him to confess his feelings to her. He responded, 'Are you crazy? Don't you know she doesn't like boys? Jordan had to switch sections because of her.
Maybe because of Manav, I started noticing Kanika, but I still liked Sakshi. Sometimes, when I saw Sakshi, she was with Kanika, as Kanika was a good friend of hers. Sakshi was always with Nidhi and Kanika.
KANIKA'S POV:-
Every time I looked, Nirvaan and Manav were checking out the girls' line. Nirvaan was focused on Sakshi, while Manav seemed to be looking at other girls. I had no idea who Manav was interested in.
Sakshi was a good friend of mine, and while I knew she was beautiful, I experienced jealousy for the first time. I wasn't sure why, but it might have been because Nirvaan liked her, even though she didn't reciprocate his feelings. Despite this, Nirvaan had been stalking her on social media.
After that, I began paying more attention to Nirvaan. When I visited Nidhi's home, she showed me Nirvaan's TikTok account, and we both laughed at his cringe-worthy content. I didn't realize how or when, but I eventually found myself liking him. I wasn't on any social media myself, so I went to Nidhi's home just to watch his videos and view the photos he posted.
Before that, I clarified with Sakshi whether she had any feelings for Nirvaan. If she did, I would have backed off. But she assured me that she didn't like him.
I didn't tell anyone that I liked Nirvaan, except for Nidhi. She was the only one who knew. Soon, I created accounts on Instagram and TikTok to keep up with him, but I never followed him. I also kept this from my parents, who didn't approve of me using social media.
In the classroom, I found myself staring at him, and he might have noticed, but he didn't say anything about it. Soon, he also started noticing me. We had a rotation of seats every day, and whenever I turned to look at him, he was also looking at me.
This continued for about two or three months. And I started to get distracted from my studies.
During lunch, some friends and I would go to the canteen to buy samosas and Kurkure. There was a guy from 9th C who came there every day, and one of my friends liked him. However, he liked me. My friend told me about this, but instead of discussing it with my parents, I decided to talk to him directly since he seemed nice, unlike Jordan. I told him that I already liked someone and apologized. He asked who it was, but I said I couldn't tell him. He insisted I was joking and didn't really like anyone, so I finally admitted that I liked Nirvaan.
I asked him not to tell Nirvaan, and he agreed. However, the next day, I noticed a change in Nirvaan-he kept looking at me the entire time. I didn't understand why, so I decided to ignore it.
A few days later, I had another argument with Manav. We were teasing each other, but Nirvaan intervened and stopped him. One of my friends then told Nirvaan to stay out of the fights and said some inappropriate things. I quickly stopped her and asked her not to say anything to him. Manav noticed this and said, 'We know about it.' When I asked, 'Know about what?' he replied, 'We know that you like Nirvaan.
I was stunned and began to cry because I didn't know what to do. Soon, I noticed that Nirvaan had his head down on his desk, and he might have been crying too. I wondered why-if he didn't like me, why was he upset? I just wished he would tell me what was wrong.
