While Harvey was giving a tour of the pizzeria to Artemis, Conner, and Will, you started having a talk with Dave in his office.
The small room looks a bit clean as you wondered if Dave just wanted to show off if you have the time to visit him. Chuckling softly in your head, you let out a small smile as Dave grinned at you with a raised brow.
"What's making you smile, darling?"
The 'darling' nickname is making your mind go insane as you stared at him with your cheeks getting warm. "Trying to amuse me, Miller?"
The British man snickered as he sat down in his chair. "No, but I know it's working." He smirked, motioning you to sit down on his lap. "Come here."
Letting out a sigh before smiling a little, you sat down on his lap carefully as Dave holds your waist while being careful with your swollen stomach.
"So my child is in here, hm?" He smiled softly as his hand gently caressed your stomach, "I'll have to wait longer for our child to be born."
You looked at him and asked, "Why? You have something planned for the future?"
Dave snickers with a grin of amusement. "Maybe."
Seeing the look on his face, you smirked and teased him. "You love to make surprises, don't you?"
He snickered and kissed your cheek softly, making you chuckle. Seeing Dave again made you happy, but there's also the unsolved case that your comrades are taking. Though you wondered how many police did Dave and Harvey had to deal with.
The man noticed the look on your face as he smirks a little. "Something on your mind, love?"
"Well..." you went in thought for a moment before saying, "did you had any problems with the police?" You asked with curiosity.
Dave's smirk slowly fades into a serious look as he asked, "Where did you hear of that?"
You rub the back of your neck and explained. "Well, you could say I heard of it from a source of sorts about this pizzeria having cases with missing kids. But that's all I know, so I was wondering what are your thoughts of it."
A tired sigh escaped the British man's lips as he began to explain. "To be honest, it's hard for Harvey and I. Many people here in Hurricane, Utah still think that this pizzeria is unsafe for kids, but they still come here just to make their children happy." Dave snickers, " And it's nice to have a happy atmosphere around the pizzeria, even though the little ones are annoying."
You heard him mutter the last sentence as you frown a little. "Will you find it annoying when our kid is born?"
His eyes widens by your words as he tries to take back his words. "Y/n, I didn't mean to-"
A ringing tone suddenly interrupts him as you went to check on your phone. Looking at the small screen, you see Grayson's name on it as you let out a sigh and answered the call. "What is it?"
"Sorry to interrupt with your...reunion with Dave, but I need you to stay with Will tomorrow."
"...May I ask why?"
"Y/n, please."
A tired sighed escaped your lips as you rubbed your fingers on your forehead. You know this mission is dangerous for a pregnant woman, such as yourself, but you also wanted to see Dave again. 
It's somewhat selfish of you to act like this because you hate keeping secrets from the people you trust. Before you could give a few words to your friend on the other side of the call, Primus' voice spoke through your mind.
