Also...I wonder...could Lilah be using a fake pregnancy to reel Marco in? It could be real...but what if it's all for the plot....hmmmm

Maverick 
There is something about interrogating someone that gets my blood pumping and my adrenaline racing. Maybe it's the fact that they don't break right away, or maybe its the fact that I'm in a position of power, but everytime I stand there, watching a man fall apart before my eyes, I stutter in ecstasy. 
Kai lives for the bloodshed and torture–it's one of the reasons he fits in with our brotherhood. Dame, the forever golden boy, can get information out of everyone. He makes them feel safe and, if possible, like they have an ally. The "good cop" act makes me want to laugh because as soon as he turns away his facade fades and he goes back to the cool and calculated man I've come to admire. 
From the day Onyx and I took in Dame and Kai, I knew they were something special. I'm not quite sure what Damian said to Kai the other day, but something changed between the two. 
Kai has always been wary of showing deep emotion with me and Nyx. He loves us and no doubt would give his life for any of us, but he holds himself back. It was always something I got frustrated with. Didn't he trust us? 
One time, Dame explained Kai's hesitancy to get close to us. Deep down I think the kid is afraid we'll leave him. Seeing him walk in the door with Dame wrapped around him and a smile on his face as he met my eyes was enough to break my apart. 
Of course, seeing him flay a man's forearm now doesn't illicit the same feelings, but still. It's good to know I have my brother back. 
"I swear I don't know anything else!" The man screams as Kai slowly removed a tendon from his arm, waving it around like a stiff noodle. 
Dame is leaning against the cement wall of the basement, content to watch us work. 
"You know Andrew, I find that hard to believe. You worked for Marco for a decade. He paid your mother's medical bills. Surely you know more about the man than you let on." I say, my voice calculated as I lean into his paling face. He looks terrified of me and I can feel all the blood rush to my cock at the feeling of being obeyed. 
Fuck, I wish Lilah was here. She would love to see us all at work, and even better, I'd be able to fuck her against the wall when all of this was over. 
Maybe I'd finger her with my blood soaked fingers. 
The image takes me away from the shaking man at hand, long enough for him to start crying. 
"I'll tell you everything, just, just promise to let me go." He whimpers between whines as Kai digs his blade into the made shoulder. 
I stand up straight to my full height, eyeing the pathetic body below me. I'd like to think that any man I've let into my organization would have more of a backbone than this. They all play a role in the overall goal, but god, this is just sad. Maybe I'll have to cut some out after this. 
The weak are not welcome with me. 
"Very well." I say making Kai and Dame stare at me like I've gone mad. They know I don't make agreements with anyone, especially an enemy. It's not something I have ever done and I have no intention of starting now.
I also am a man of my word. I will not kill this man. 
Andrew lets out a breath as I motion for Kai to pull his knife away, even as he grumbles under his breath.
