Chapter 9

                                    

                                          
Waking up to the sound of constant knocking on her door which was only getting louder and louder, Lucy walked towards the door to check who it was. She was expecting some maid but the way the person was knocking she couldn't figure out. She least expected her brother to knock on her door this early. As soon as she opened the door, she was met with a pair green eyes which she recognized as Stefano's. His eyes were having cold and annoying look in them. She stared at him with confusion as she couldn't really think of any excuse that could actually make her brother walk up to her room. 
She was took out of her trance by Stefano's cold and harsh voice, "Why the are you not ready yet? Didn't Domenico told that you are going to mall with me today?" Lucy eyes slightly widen in shock and mentally face palmed herself for always forgetting things. But before she could say anything he ended the conversation in a threatening tone leaving no room for continuing the conversation, "Just keep your explanation to yourself. Get ready in 10 minutes and see me in garage. Don't be late or the consequences won't be good." He walked away while closing the door on her face. Wow...
She wanted to fight back to him but resisted. She looked at the time and sighed. It was already 9 AM. She found herself sleeping a lot these past few days as she usually slept for 3 or 4 hours because of her hectic study schedule. She would generally stay alive at coffee. Coffee was her life. Thinking about coffee, she suddenly felt the strong urge of drinking coffee but resisted. Being an anorexic it was easy for her to ignore her food cravings. Thinking of all this she quickly ran towards bathroom as she again forgot that she only had 10 minutes to get ready. She randomly picked out a hoodie and pants and wore it quickly. She decided to let her hair down as she had already took 11 minutes. She applied toner and moisturizer at her face and hands while picking up her phone and running out of her room.
She reached the garage in two minutes, obviously with guards help, and and saw Stefano already sitting there looking annoyed. He told her to get in as she stood beside his car. 
After a few minutes of drive, they finally reached the mall. She looked around the mall with no emotions in her eyes as she was used to all this expensive shops and stuff. "Just buy whatever you want and don't bother me. After you are done, meet me at the food court which is on the fourth floor. Do you get it?" Stefano spoke in a commanding tone to which she nodded her head blankly not really paying attention. "WORDS" Stefano spoke in a bit loud voice making her slightly flinch but she hid it almost immediately. She took a deep breath in order to control herself from yelling at him and whispered a small 'yes' ready to move in other direction. 
She was shopping all alone in some expensive stores not because she wanted to but because those were the only stores present in that huge luxurious mall. She went inside the Gucci store to get some t-shirts and oversized hoodies which she loved with her whole heart. She also bought some pants like cargo and straight fit denims, etc. She didn't like skinny jeans at all. Later she went to some other stores and bought some skirts, tops, undergarments and other stuff. After clothes, she went to a big stationary store and bought all the needed stuff.
After an hour she was done with all her shopping and made her way towards the food court as she was told but soon stopped in her tracks as soon as she spotted a big book store and immediately ran inside. She squealed in happiness at the beautiful sight and the calming smell of books. She went straight to fictional section and picked almost every thriller and crime book she could find. Coming out of the store she realized that she had 2 bags full of books. She laughed at herself and looked at the time. She got a bit shocked that she spent an hour at the book store but shrugged it off and made her way towards the bookstore. 
She spotted her brother taking a seat at a middle table and went towards him who just simply ignored her presence. She didn't really care that people treated her like shit but it slightly hurt her knowing that it's her brother treating her like that. But she shrugged it off as she was feeling a bit refreshed after a lot of days and she didn't want to ruin it by her useless thoughts. She came out of her thoughts by her brother snapping in front of her face. He looked annoyed as usual, 'maybe that was his resting face' she thought, "Order whatever you want to eat." She boringly looked at the menu as she didn't liked anything. It's not like the dishes tasted bad, it's just she never had the appetite to eat. Well, not never, just since last year when she got into something and ended up at the hospital for months. Well, that's the story of some other time. 
"Nothing, I am not hungry." she spoke in calm tone after the reading the whole menu of 3 pages and didn't like a single thing except water. Stefano looked at her amused at how she wasn't feeling hungry even after not having her breakfast. He didn't ask her again and decided to order something himself. After a few minutes, their food arrived and Lucy felt really frustrated when he kept a plate of pasta in front of her despite her refusal. She was about to say something when she suddenly realized one thing that she hated and resisted everything. 
She looked around the place and found out that she was sitting in the middle of the big room. She looked at the people sitting on the chairs that surrounded her table and felt anxious. She felt her breath getting abnormal and her hand started to shake due to anxiety. She hated being at the middle. She hated being the center of attention. She always chose the corner table with dim lightings and less noise. She always put her earphones on whenever she go to crowded places but today she forgot them and she realized it now only as the other stores weren't that crowdy. She dig her nails into her palm not wanting to get a anxiety attack here in middle of the room with a lot of people in here. 
Stefano looked at her and frowned seeing her looking around. He decided to ask, "Aren't you going to eat?" Lucy being a big introvert and secret keeper acted as if nothing happened and unwilling took a few bites of her pasta. After a few bites she felt full and decided to get up to go to washroom. Stefano knew something was up with her and decided not to interrupt her and peacefully observed her as she disappeared to go to restroom. She washed her hands and  splashed her face with cold water. She felt a bit relaxed after that and decided to leave but as soon as she was about to step out a creepy looking guy came towards her. 
Lucy looked at him and took deep breaths to calm herself down as she was not in the mood for this fuck. So decided to shove the guy and said "Fuck off" in a threatening and cold voice. The guy turned her around by her shoulder as soon as she was to leave. Now she had enough, as soon as she turned around she landed a hard punch on the guy's face making his nose bleed and probably break too because a crack was heard but who cares. She knew self defense, martial arts and had good fighting skills but that was something she was not gonna let her brothers or anyone know.
She walked out and went back to where his brother was paying up for the food. Both of them made their way towards the car without uttering a word. There was a complete silence in the car which no one tried to break. Soon they reached the mansion. "Your bags will be kept in your room by some guards." Stefano stated coldly. Lucy nodded and stepped out of the car and directly went towards her room.

Hi guysss, how are you all doing? Finally I found some time today and wrote the whole chapter in one go. There can be some grammatical errors it  I am writing this chapter at 1:00 AM and my mom is again and again telling me  to sleep as I have school tomorrow. hahaha...
