"The mentor in the TV told us to gain Lyra's affection, we need not to throw things at her." Asch stated before scolding Leif how his simple mind isn't gonna get him anywhere. The pinknette exclaimed how the prince had gotten smart from the TV only for compliments to go around.
A smirk of triumph spread across the prince's face before shifting his body, oblivious to bumping into the ladder. The sound of someone gasping caused the daemos' eyes to wondered over the Lyra's falling figure.
Seeing this, Pierce rushed into action. He caught the princess, bridal style before she could hit the floor. Lyra clung onto the knight's clothes, shifting it just a bit to reveal a tad bit of his skin. Her breath was uneven before she took a breath and sighed.
The human hopped out of the daemos' touch before shyly thanking him. Her hazel gaze wondered over to a raven pair before glaring into them. The human began to scolded the prince about if he wanted her attention to just tap her shoulder.
Asch immediately started blaming Leif but couldn't utter a single word when Lyra grumbled that he can't just blame the assassin for everything. She pinched the bridge of her noses before murmuring how she was gonna change since she was still in her pajamas.
Once the human left, the daemos' began to argue before they settled as usual, Lyra is game for any one of them. The sound of Leif chuckling made Asch turn his body and aim a fireball his way only to miss.
"Crap!" Asch screamed out only to hearing a gasp, glancing to the side to see Lyra with a shocked expression. A frown was worn on her face as her hands were on her hips, as if she was scolding a child like a mother.
The human asked where the daemos learned such a word only to be called out by the others on how she says it a lot. Her hand found the back of her neck, rubbing it nervously before Noi's cheery voice exclaimed how they heard it from the TV.
Lyra immediately asked what the daemos' were watching, only to have the question avoided.  Asch yelled out to explain what the human was doing to her home. The human quirked a brow before giggling.
The woman began to explain how it's October which meant Halloween is coming up. The knight tried his best to mumble out- he pronounced it correctly- causing the human to praise him before going on with her words.
"It's also a holiday where I feel most like myself!" Lyra exclaimed with a small smile caressing onto her lips. The daemos quirk a brow as they ask what the human meant, who began to ramble about how she felt stronger due to the season.
Noi gasped as his eyes filled with starts before uttering how it was like a ritual. The thought of a ritual caught the daemos' attention as they had an invested glint in their eyes. Leif popped up from behind the couch and leaned upon the back rest, his arms dangling while uttering out 'now we're talking'.
The princess internally face palmed as she raised a hand in defense but it didn't stop the daemos to bombard her with questions.
"Look guys... Halloween is just a month to get spooky and scary!" Her hand brushed against the back of her neck with a nervous smile. "I normally spend it alone but..." a glint formed in her eyes as the nervous smile turned into an excited one. "I have you guys now!"
Leif eyed the princess, seeing her all giddy and smiley made a warm sensation wash over his chest while his eyes softened. Noticing she was standing still, the assassin asked what she was doing. Immediately snapping out her daze.
