______________________________________"Your wife comes to meet me on your wedding, without anyone knowing, prioritize me over her husband and still you have the need to ask who am i?", he completed the sentence with an audible laugh and an overconfident voice.
His words dripped with venom, each syllable laced with a bitterness that cut through the air like a sharp blade. The sweetness of his voice was nothing more than a facade, hiding the poison within.
The thought consumed me, a primal, burning need that blotted out everything else. It wasn't just anger; it was something deeper, more visceral. My hands trembled with the intensity of it, my pulse quickened as if in anticipation of what I desperately wanted to do. I just wanted to kill him.
"What do you want ?", i finally managed to say, trying to be unaffected by his words but still the anger in my voice was visible as the words left my mouth from the gritted teeth.
"Nothing, i was just checking out if my love doesn't have any problems with you", he said, his voice calm but i can visualise the smirk forming on his lips and his one eyebrow raising in victory.
I remained quiet, nothing came out of my mouth.
After a few seconds of palpable silence he finally spoke, "LEAVE HER."
Now, this is my time a smile covered the corner of my lips despite the irony of the moment and the feelings i have been holding inside my self as i say, "What if I won't?"
He didn't replied anything and for a moment i felt content but his next words made my anger surge like a volcano whose lava burning out with fire continously attempting to come out and destroy the whole world.
"She will die", he said.
"Ek kharonch.....agar ek kharonch bhi aayi usey toh jaan le lunga teri",i uttered, each word laced with a fierce, almost visceral desperation to protect her. This was not just anger surging in my veins like the magma accumulating beneath the surface of the earth with extreme force to come out. My anger was same, a blend of passionate protectiveness and uncontrollable rage.
(One scratch.....even if one scratch comes over her i will take your life)
“Bhala mai ussey kuch kyo karunga, i also love her”, his saracastic words felt like daggers, the pain that was suppressed under the sheaths of anger by now surging onto to the top again, making it hard for me to stay and consume myself.
(Why would i do something to her, i also love her after all).
He remained silent for a few seconds and then again poured the venom from his mouth to my ears making them bleed with pain, “Lekin woh khud karegi..!!”
