Both N and Uzi pushed off the ground, still holding hands tightly. Uzi struggled to fly every once in awhile due to her wings being torn, but with N by her side it didn't matter.
They soared over the trees below, but stopped once the two appeared above the clouds. N hugged Uzi, and they began to spin. They fell through the air, embracing each other tightly. At the last second, they released one another, but not letting go of the others hand. It was like a trick practiced hundreds of times, but the only reliable source was the trust.
After awhile, N and Uzi were a few feet off the ground in a stand up position. They landed gracefully, and N took both of her hands. " I have something to show you. " he looked at her with the most loveable expression he could possibly have, Uzi simply agreeing to follow.
His tail swayed, and they walked the paths of where they first talked away from the cars. Uzi walked with her hands in her pockets, looking down blushing as he talked. Every once in awhile N would bump her playfully, which Uzi laughed.
She looked at him as he rambled, finding a comfort in his voice. His tone was happy with a hint of excitement, as per usual. He was talking to her about one of his favorite interests; dogs. Golden retrievers seemed to be in his favor, as he talked mostly about that breed.
N and Uzi fit together unbelievably well, Which is why N wanted everything to be perfect for her. He felt as if he owed it to her.
He enjoyed making her laugh, seeing her happy was all that mattered to him. Uzi was excited to see why he had been gone for so long, what she had been longing to know.
Despite her being excited, the walk seemed to take longer than expected. N was in no hurry, it just meant spending more time with Uzi, as if they weren't gonna do that later once this was done.
N purposely waited for the moon to be full as it was the night they met, he wanted her to have the full effect. The closer he got to their destination, the more nervous he got. He knew Uzi wouldn't hurt him, but there was one clawing feeling he couldn't shake. He looked down, slowing his pace a bit.
Uzi, quickly noticing, took his hand and tilted her head, as N would do. She was his every source of comfort. He smiled, continuing.
After what seemed like forever, there was a tree grove up against a completely frozen ocean. N led her to the middle, letting go of her hand.
Uzi got the feeling she needed to stay there, and N walked towards one of the trees. He pulled a small rope, releasing lanterns and purple flowers. They were made from paper of course, as it was far too cold for any real flowers. N wished they could be real, but he wanted Uzi to see how much he loved her at the same time.
Uzi, taking it all in, slowly turned in a circle looking up at everything N did for her. She barely managed to say anything, being amazed at N's way of expressing his love. As she was turning, N slowly approached her.
He looked at Uzi like it was the first time. Her amethyst hair with lilac colored eyes made him feel something nobody else could. His tail swayed calmly behind him as he got closer to her, his expression showing pride, with a sense of " do you like it? "
Uzi couldn't help but hug N tightly, but there was something else that tugged him. "Uzi?.. " N began to ask.
