Right Bitch, Wrong Day

                                    

                                          
Wanda, Enid, Yoko, Bianca, Ajax, Divina, and Kent all sat together at a lunch table in awkward silence. Usually Enid sits with Yoko, Divina, and sometimes Kent. Meanwhile, Wanda usually sits with Bianca, Ajax, and sometimes Kent. Even though Ajax, Bianca, Divina, Yoko, and Kent are all friends with each other, they rarely all ate together due to being friends with Enid and Wanda respectively and not wanting to leave them alone. But through the grace of god (becaus lord knows it wasn't due to Wanda), they were all sat with each other. And no one knew how to start the conversation. 
Until finally, Divina spoke up. "So what did I miss in fencing exactly? Because various rumors have spread and I'd like to know which is true."
"Thank you!" Kent exclaimed. "I have been confused all day!"
Ajax grinned and shrugged. "Then join fencing club."
He hissed. "That's a lot of work. Besides," he held up his hands and checked his nails, "these nails were not meant for fighting."
"And mine are?" Enid checked her own nails, polish chipped and need of a redo. 
"Look, sports and me just do not get along."
Divina rolled her eyes with a smile on her face. "It's because he sucks at them."
"Do not!"
"Do too!" Everyone at the table exclaimed in unison making them all laugh as Kent pouted. 
Once they all calmed down, Divina repeated, "Okay, seriously though, what did I miss in fencing?"
Bianca took the liberty to explain and when she finished, the devil herself walked into the cafeteria. "And here she comes now."
They all watched Wednesday walk to the food line. Wednesday felt the eyes on her and turned to look, making them all look away except for Enid and Wanda. They all just stared at each other for a moment. Enid was still hoping she and Wednesday could become friends, hoping that what happened in fencing won't just make her want to leave even more. Wanda was hoping that Wednesday wouldn't find out the truth, hoping she'd let the whole thing go. Wednesday was hoping to figure out what Wanda was hiding, and hoping that maybe Enid would have the answers since they seem to be friends. 
Finally they all looked away to find their friends sharing smirks. "What?" Enid asked. 
"Oh nothing," Yoko sang. "Don't you worry you're pretty little head about it."
Wanda raised an eyebrow and discreetly pointed to Ajax under the table. What are you guys hiding?
He jolted a little at the new voice in his head. "Nothing!"
Everyone looked at him weirdly as Wanda face palmed. You're an idiot. 
Ajax glared at her lightly. "Hey!"
Wanda reached across the table and hit his forehead with her palm. "Stop talking out loud!"
Everyone continued to look at them weirdly except for Bianca who pieced it together and sighed. "Anyway..." she helped Wanda by changing the topic to something else. 
After that conversation flowed easily, and Wanda was happy to be talking to Enid so much. The others too. Maybe she'll finally have more than two friends. And though she didn't know it, Enid was thinking the exact same thing.

After classes that day, Enid returned to her dorm to change and grab her duffel bag for dance club. Only when she got there, Wednesday was already there pacing on her side of the room. When she heard the door open she turned to her.
