It's been a couple weeks since Harry and I found out. To my surprise, Harry and I haven't really spoken since. He's not avoiding me, but he's not making an effort to speak to me either. What a way to make the situation better Harry.

I still haven't told Valarie either, I couldn't. It dreaded me every day that went by not telling her, but I cannot let anyone find out about this. I just wish Harry would speak to me so I had someone to talk about it with.

"Potter. Potter." Snape said bluntly but loudly. Once again, I had zoned out during potions class. It's been happening a lot recently, not that I want it to but I just can't control it. I felt everybody's eyes on me as they looked at my potion that had only one ingredient in it, when all of theirs were nearly finished.

My head jolted up at Snape, I was met with the same cold face he always looks at me with. "Yes, sir." I mumbled trying to seem as enthused as I possibly could, but I knew he wasn't believing it for a second.

"Do you even know what potion we're brewing Potter." Malfoy spat at me. "Uhm, Polyjuice?" I said quietly knowing straight away my answer was wrong. "Good lord." He chuckled to his friends, I honestly don't know how I had the energy to even look in his direction.

I felt myself zoning out again until I felt Valarie's hand on my shoulder. "You're staying and telling me what's going on after class, I know you're not okay." She said softly to me as she helped me finish my potion. I couldn't help but look over Harry, he looked like he was managing which made me feel a bit more at peace with everything going on.

I rubbed my eyes as I started leaving the classroom along with everyone else. I heard Valarie clear her throat as I started walking off, I had completely forgotten she had asked me to stay, even though it was just 10 minutes ago. "Sorry." I whispered to her as I quickly turned back around.

"What is up with you lately! You haven't been talking, sleeping, god, you're not even eating!" Valarie said loudly, I gave her an annoyed look signaling for her to quiet down since there were still a group of people leaving the classroom.

Once they had left she gave me a look telling me to answer her question. "There's nothing wrong, I'm completely fine. I'm just, caught up with classes." I sighed as I forced a smile onto my face, trying to seem as reassuring as possible. "If you don't tell me the truth within a week I'm sneaking a truth potion into your supper." She groaned as she started leaving the classroom.

As I followed behind her, I saw Malfoy and his friends giggling while they were running off. Thank god I didn't say anything, I just knew that there would be somebody listening through the open window.

We were all sitting at the Slytherin table during dinner time, while Valarie was talking with Tiana, Christian and Loretta, I was playing with my full plate of food with a fork. "Ooh! Are you gonna eat that?" Christian cheered as he eagerly looked at my plate and then me. "Nono, go ahead." I smiled softly as I nudged my plate towards him.

The whole table wasn't happy we let Ravenclaws sit with us, but I think the only reason they allow it is because they'd rather them than Harry and the others sitting here.

I sat still lost in my thoughts as I continued to run my fork along the lines on the table, that is until I saw Malfoy staring at me in the corner of my eye. I looked up with an annoyed look expecting the glare I get whenever we let Ravenclaws sit with us, but to my surprise he was looking at me with what looked like a kind of sorriness in his eyes.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him, I wasn't sure why he was feeling what looked like pity for me. He doesn't even know whats happening. He quickly turned back to his food once he saw my facial expression, I'm glad he knows when's the time and when is not the time to make a poor comment.
