Hale House

The pack has gathered at Derek's house, including Cora, Hope and Hayden who'd been called about the funeral.

"The first night I met Derek Hale, he saved my life. Then he said we were brothers, and I thought that he was crazy. But no. No, he was right. Eli, from that moment on, we were brothers. And, uh … Derek Hale was the first person to teach me that you don’t just get the family that you were born with. You get the family that you find" Scott gives his eulogy.

You and Lydia are sitting on the stairs at the back of the house, Lydia's head rests on your shoulder.

"I still think it should've been me" You sighed.

"He wouldn't have let you" Lydia shakes her head.

"True ... He's been protecting me since I was a kid, he wasn't gonna stop now ... His eyes -- changed before he died" You informed.

"What do you mean changed ?" Lydia looked you in the eyes.

"He became a True Alpha" You informed,  she smiled fondly, nodding her head.

"What are we gonna do about Eli ?" Lydia gestured to the teenager.

"I'm gonna stay here with him" You take her hand in yours, examining her ring.

"So, you're suggesting we move back to Beacon Hills ?" Lydia quiried.

"I guess I am, honey" You sighed, Lydia kissed you lovingly, you smiled, resting your forehead against hers.

Martin-Hale House, Beacon Hills

You placed all the bags down in the living room of Derek's house, Lydia has gone upstairs to help the kids unpack, Eli is standing behind you.

"Thank you" Eli smiled, putting his bag down on the couch.

"For what ?" You enquired.

"Buying Dad's house. Now I have a piece of him to hold onto" Eli sits down on the kitchen island.

"Speaking of your Dad ... I think he'd want you to have this" You hand him the Triskelion medallion.

"What is it ?" He takes the cold metal in his palm.

"It's a Triskelion. It shows how an Alpha, Beta, or Omega can rise but also fall to another status in a pack. A Beta can become an Alpha, but an Alpha can fall to an Omega ... We use it to teach young Werewolves control" You explained.

"Can you teach me ? Me and Dad didn't do much cause I kinda used to pass out" Eli laughs awkwardly, closing his hand around the object.

"Of course I'll teach you, Eli. You're my Beta now" You smiled.

"And you're my Alpha" He nodded.

"I kinda wanna adopt you someday -- If that's something you'd want" You query after a moment of silence.

"Yeah, I want that, Aunt Y/N" Eli smiled, wrapping his arms around you tightly.

You smiled back at him, Lydia entered the room, a smile crossing her own face.

"Am I interrupting something ?" Lydia leant in the doorway.

"I'm gonna go unpack" Eli rubbed the back of his neck, walking off towards the stairs.

Lydia sat down beside you, you wrapped your arm around her shoulder, she rests her head against your chest.

"The Nogitsune's gone for good this time ... We can finally stop worrying about the supernatural trying to kill us" You kissed her on the crown of her head.

"Only took about 20 years" Lydia joked.

"I gave Faith and Marcus the keys to my old apartment" You confessed.

"Hmm" Lydia buried her face in your chest.

"I have everything I need. My Beta's, my friends, my family and ... the love of my life" You smiled fondly.

"You'll always have me. I love you, Y/N" Lydia kissed you passionately.

"I love you too" You smiled, listening to Brett, Hope and Eli laughing upstairs.
