"That bitch! Thinking he can get away with this." Shinobu stormed off, probably to where she normally stayed before the riot. "Fuckin' dipshit."
"Shinobu, wait." Itto caught up to her and grabbed her wrist. "It's fine, they should snap out of this soon." He slightly smiled at her, "Right?" Itto didn't want this to be true, so mentally telling yourself that everything was a joke is okay, right?
"Stop trying to be positive about everything, Itto. You don't realize how hard it was for me to actually accept my feelings towards Heizou, and to just throw it all away today? Men are the same." She yanked her wrist out of Itto's grasp, "Thinking they know everything." Shinobu walked over to her house and knocked on the door.
Eventually her older sister answered, "Shinobu?! What are you doing here? I thought you died! Come in, quick. Mother and Father have been worried." Miyuki gently pushed her sister inside. "What makes you come running back home, hm?"
Shinobu rolled her eyes and went to her room, "Nothing. Just leave me be." She closed the door and sighed, she had been living with Itto and his mom for a while. She forgot how things were in this house.
She sat on her bed, trying not to cry. That's the last thing she needed, for everyone in the house to hear her cry. She instead changed into her old pajamas and sat on her bed, Shinobu looked out the window and sighed.
"He's joking, right?" She placed her index finger on the window, sadly sighing. "We've never done it, that's probably why he ended it." She looked at her hands, a worker's hands. "A man needs a woman to carry his children, did he think I wasn't good enough?" Shinobu sighed again, "Women normally have children around this age, don't they?" Tears almost spilled out of her eyes, "He probably didn't love me that much."
Shinobu didn't care about society's standards, but ending a relationship of such high status? She might as well start caring about everything. If word about this got out to the public, she'd be the cover of everyone's inside jokes.
"I'm okay, I'll be okay." She looked out the window, sighing while watching the sunset. Tears rolling down her cheek, but she didn't make a sound. Shinobu just let the tears roll down, just like rain on a window. Silent.
"Hey, you're okay, right?" Itto was walking next to Shinobu, they weren't going anywhere, just walking. "Yesterday wasn't the best but..." He sighed, it was no use talking to her.
"They're lying." Shinobu stopped and looked at Itto, "There's something behind it. They wouldn't have ended it like that." She sighed and thought for a while. "What is it though?"
Shinobu looked away from Itto and continued walking, eventually they saw a sight that horrified them.
"You flatter me, Shikanoin." Sara chuckled as Heizou kissed her hand. "Very much." She smiled and held his hand, "I seriously don't know how my father didn't see it sooner."
"That fucking bitch. That liar, that damn liar."
