Chapter 41: Christmas Tragedy

                                    

                                          
(Fun fact: I don't write any notes about what chapter I write, everything just gets beamed into my brain until I have a concrete idea of what I need to write.) 
They made it back to Hellsing Manor tired because of the party but also gained some information about their enemy, they now know that he isn't as powerful as people boast about. They knew they basically painted a target on their back but they've already had one the moment Alucard took over the Colombian Cartel.
Alucard and the others walked through the double doors that led them inside the manor where maids were already waiting for them and Seras who had her rifle over her shoulder.
Seras: Welcome back you guys and it seems like you had a lot of fun, I saw the whole thing!
Walter: Yes, it was quite the show but I do ask if you have seen anything suspicious while scoping the building?
Seras: Nothing much, everything was going fine after Alucard cut Halliday's arm off but when the party wrapped up, I saw Halliday having a meeting with the head of the Lovelace Family.
Alucard: They must have been discussing the duel me and Halliday had.
Integra: I wonder what exactly is going through their minds while talking.
Alucard: Probably something we should be concerned about in the near future.
Walter: Quite.
The maids took their coats and escorted them to their rooms which they'll be using whenever they were at the manor.
Walter: Well, I'll be taking my leave to rest. I'll see you all in the morning.
Seras: Yeah, I'm pooped. Laying on your stomach for nearly 3 hours does not help with back pains.
Alucard: You all go ahead, I still need to look something over.
Integra: Alright, goodnight Alucard.
They all went their separate ways with Alucard walking to the library, what he needed to look over was something that stuck out to him while he was at the party. He walked over to a specific section where it talked about the Lovelace family, for some reason the library has some information on important people that either ruled or lived in Ithcona. He skimmed through the books spines until he found what he was looking for, it was the family tree of the Lovelace family which was recently updated by an unknown. He grabbed the book and took a seat before reading through some of the information.
"Lovelace Family
The first ancestor of the Lovelace family arrived to the Americas from Spain as a settler on a boat for one of Francisco Pizarro's expeditions to the New World.  In the first several generations, the family gained great wealth through its plantations and emerald mining, then attaining its status as a 'noble family.' However, the family had come under hard times in the 21st century, especially due to flooding of the tobacco farm, but still survived with the meager income from the plantations. With the formation of the family, throughout the centuries there has been a "head" of the family, having twelve heads as of the late 21st century.
Diego Lovelace
He was the previous head of the family before he was unfortunately assassinated on the orders of their rivals, Boss Pasturia who is the current head of the Colombian Cartel which is currently occupying Venezuela. Diego Lovelace was a caring man who showed love to whoever worked for him and his family, he was respected by the people of Venezuela till the day he passed away. During his time as the head of the Lovelace Family, he saved and recruited a woman that was known to be the most wanted person in the world. Her name is Rosarita Cisneros or Roberta which is the name she prefers to be addressed as, she's highly skilled in any type of weaponry and her physical prowess are on par with most of the quirked population.
