Okay uhm, so I don't even know why I chose to do this but it'll help carry the plot? Uhm read at your own risk and embarrassment 😭 🫣
Also please be aware this is going to be quite a long chapter as it's basically the intermission to the finale and has a lot details. 

"H...ly?"
"..an ..u hea... m..?"
"Hailey?!"
She sleepily blinked her eyes open. Almost instantly she was met with Daisy's pale blue eyes. "Gah!"
She yelped sitting up, she felt no longer tired but well rested. "Oh thank goodness you're okay Hailey, scared the life out of me."
Daisy breathed a sigh of relief, Hailey looked around and noticed a man with light pink hair and brown eyes. "Agent Austin, your vitals are fine. The tranquilizer just caused you to be put unconscious."
He spoke softly, Hailey recognized the man as Milly's boyfriend. He seamed more quiet and to himself compared to Milly's wild and energetic personality. "Oh thank you, wait where's Jake?"
"Fine, he's in another room resting. They got the bullet out of his leg. It didn't go deep but it still will be a while until he heals." Daisy assured putting a hand over Hailey's. She exhaled softly before standing up.
"Okay. I'll go to him."
"Hailey-." Daisy tried to say but the girl had already left.

Hailey walked around the medical field area for a while until she spotted Jake's name on a door.
Instantly she opened the door and saw him just sitting there fazed. He looked over at her surprised, "Hailey? Wait are you okay? You almost hit the ground yesterday."
She just stood there awkwardly, "Yeah I'm fine. I just wanted to check up on you, cause you know."
Then Hailey just came up to the bed giving a small smile. Jake smirked proudly before taking her chin. "Worried about me huh princess?"
In an instant she felt heat rise to her cheeks and she pulled her head away, "Shut up! You're obviously fine so I'll be leaving now."
He snickered watching her walk to the door, she glanced back at him and stuck her tongue out while putting at finger to her cheek before leaving.
He smiled watching her go, he couldn't lie if someone had asked if she had become important to him. 
The more he thought about it, the more he realized things about her. The way she would get embarrassed and flustered easily or how she enjoyed talking a lot.
Her voice a soft soothing melody he could listen all day to. The thoughts of the girl only made him blush. "Wait a second.." 
Jake muttered to himself sitting up. Thousands of thoughts swirled through his head. He put his head in his hands wide eyed. 
"Shit."

A half a year passed, and well things were going well. Jake and Hailey only got closer, eventually to the point where they even call each other best friends. They've been on many missions together each very difficult but ending with a success.
And about Luke and Zander, the proposal went welllll.
