1887.
Thing, Wednesday and Enid are about to land on a long river but thanks to Enid's strong grip, she was able to hold onto one of the post lights on the bridge leading to the cathedral and an open park.
"Hold on for a bit. I'll pull you up!". Enid grumbled, giving Wednesday and Thing a heads up for what is to come. Using her werewolf strength, she pulled her and Thing up and threw them above ground, letting them fall on the pavement road of the bridge instead.
Stumbling in the middle of the bridge, Wednesday groans in pain and to her surprise, she was alive and finds herself in the 18th century seeing how people use horses and carriages as modes of transport. She also notice a few people strolling at the open park wearing females ball gowns, corsets and men with a tight waisted, full chested skirted coat and other wear that screams 1800s.
"No way, it worked". Wednesday murmured, lifting Thing's finger for it to rest on her palm after seeing how it stretches his fingers to massage his body after that rough fall.
"Thing, we actually made it! 1887!". She mused as her eyes wonder around the tall structure of the cathedral and how the dark blue hues emerges from the deep midnight skies, making the atmosphere creepy and melancholic in sight.
Just as how she wanted.
Enid landed on her feet after pulling herself up from the edge of the bridge and casually looked at Wednesday and Thing who were stunned over what happened.
She looked up at the tall cathedral before them and gasped in silence, "Yep. We are no longer in the 21st century alright.. Your necklace worked..".
"How unfortunate we didn't die". Wednesday muttered under her breath while getting up on her feet with Thing crawling to rest on her shoulder. "Now we need to look for Cardinal Jinette".
Suddenly at a peaceful night, they hear a loud growl coming from the cathedral which caught their attention.
"What the hell was that!?!". Enid shrieked.
Wednesday glanced up and squinted her eyes to not only get a clearer look of what could be happening up there but she also tested her strong psychic sense to determine if something's wrong and if it has to do with her journey to look for Hyacinth and Dracula.
Then suddenly she hears a faint whisper, making her pupils dilate and her eyes grow big. Wednesday doesn't know why she had the notion to check the scene of a possible crime from above but something from her senses is telling her to go up there.
"Enid, you think you got enough strength to take me up there?". Wednesday asks while pointing at the hidden room of the cathedral building.
She looked at where her finger is pointing towards and stretched both her neck and arms, "I'll sure as hell try. Arms around my neck and try suffocating me this time".
