You were unconscious.

But you could hear. You heard everything that everyone said.

One person's words kept repeating in your head. It was like a loop, just of his voice. Of course, on sentence stood out above the rest.

Bokuto's "I love you" was playing on repeat in your head as you lay on the bed. A small smile spread on your face, stretching wider the more you heard it repeat in your head.

You tried moving your fingers, being able to make them move slightly. Not enough to be considered a significant amount of movement, but good enough for now. You were desperately trying to regain consciousness, no matter the cost. You wanted to wake up and see everyone again.

All the sad words they'd say while sitting in your room got to you. You just wanted to get up and make them all happy again. You thought forcing your eyes to open would be the best thing that could happen for everyone.

And, most of all, you wanted to see Bokuto again. To finally be able to see him, hug him, kiss him, and tell him everything... that's what you wanted above all else. Your boyfriend was your top priority. You had no idea what time it was, nor did you have a clue about what day or month it was. All you knew was that your time was running out.

Bokuto could wait for only so long. Based on what you had heard, he would give up on you once he graduates from high school. And you couldn't let that happen. You needed to wake up and see him as soon as possible.

All you wanted was to have things go back to normal. You didn't want to be hooked up to so many machines. You didn't want to remain lying on a bed, unconscious. You wanted to wake up and be able to live your life again. You would give anything to just be able to do everything with everyone once more.

The last thing you wanted was to die. You were too young to die. You have so much to live for, so many other things to do.

And then, everything stopped.

Something Gojo said took control, being the one thing you heard in your head.

"Gojo said he'll get me out of Jujutsu. He'll free me from the world I was cursed to live in. I could end up living the rest of my life with Kou, like a normal human being. I could dlive among nonsorcerers and never again worry about the chance of dying. I could get a normal job, or be a stay at home mom. I could be the perfect housewife for Kou. But... is that what I want? I can do so much for all people if I remain a sorcerer. I can continue to get rid of curses and curse users, making the world a safer place for nonsorcerers. Can I just give everything up for my own safety? Kou understands what I currently do. He knows the risks. But he loves me anyway. I can't give anything up. I want things to be normal. Even if Gojo says he'll help get me out, I won't take him up on that offer. Not unless Kou says he wants me to live a normal life with him. I'll follow Kou. But first... I need to wake up!"

You scrunch your face up, then relax it. Once you know you have control of your face, you work with your arms and legs. You're able to get a little bit of movement, which will be good for now. You just need to start getting your body to make any movement right now. A little bit at a time, that's all it takes for things to start working. With more practice, you'll be able to move freely, however you please. But you need to start slowly right now. Any little movement will be good for now.

You clench your hands into fists, then relax them. You repeat the process, making sure you had full control over your body. You bend your knees, then straighten your legs out again. You keep making these movements until you're sure that your body is working the way you want it to.

"Good. The final step is to open my eyes. I can do this. I just need to lift my eyelids, then I can see where I am. I need to open my eyes, then I can sit up and go from there. Come on, just open already! I need to go back to normal! Open! Open! Open!"

You move your head from side to side, but your eyes remain close. Frustration builds within you as you're unable to open your eyes. Until you do that, you'll remain blind to the world. All you have to do right now is open your eyes.

Minutes pass. Nothing happens. The room remains empty, except for you lying on the bed.

Slowly, your eyes flutter open. You glance around the room, knowing exactly where you are. You slowly sit up, noticing everything hooked up to you.

You sigh. "Well, I need Shoko to get this all out of me. Then, I'm gonna go see everyone."
