Everything was chaotic. The ER was filled- there were people all over the place. Everyone was doing something whether it was checking someone's injuries or getting them ready to be discharged. Cristina was about to check someone in, but she got called outside for an incoming ambulance. The ambulance got there and she was ready to help whoever was in there, but once the doors opened a woman in a military suit jumped out at the same time the gurney was taken out. This woman was holding something from the patient's throat.

This woman was tall, slim, and her hair was a dirty blonde. From the quick glance Cristina could tell that her eyes were probably a shade of green.

"What is she doing?" Bailey yelled, referring to the blonde.

"I don't know. She did this with an ink pen." The paramedic shrugged his shoulders.

"An ink pen? Oh my god!" Cristina saw the blonde blowing air into a patient with a makeshift tracheostomy tube.

"Okay, let's move it!" Bailey shouted.

Bailey along with some other doctors took the patient and rushed him to the first trauma room. Cristina was going to follow, but she noticed the woman bleeding out of her leg. She took her to an empty trauma room to help her out.

"That was pretty cool. What you did out there." Cristina complimented her as she examined her cut which was on her thigh.

"Thanks." The blonde responded.

"No problem." Cristina looked up and found herself looking into her eyes. They were green, but they had tiny specks of brown, yet they weren't quite hazel. "Uh...what your name?" Cristina asked realizing she zoned out for quite a bit.

"Dr. Theodora Altman, but people call me Teddy. Yours?" Cristina was glad she kept the conversation going.

"Dr. Cristina Yang."

Both of them instead of talking to each other just stared at each other. While Cristina was mesmerized by Teddy's dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, perfectly sloped nose, and her perfect pink lips Teddy was mesmerized by Cristina's big curly hair, deep chocolate eyes, defined cupids bow that was paired with a deep pink shade lips, and her small yet gorgeous eyes. Truth to be told, Cristina never found herself being mesmerized by a woman, but maybe it was the uniform.

"Well, you're going to need some staples." Cristina started getting up. "The cut its pretty deep from what I can see, but I'll have to clean it first to properly see it."

Since the moment Cristina got up Teddy did not take her eyes off of her. Her eyes followed her wherever she was in the room and her eyes stayed glued to Cristina as she cleaned her cut and stapled it closed. She thanked her and as they both got up Teddy apologized to her before bringing her close and kissing her.

"I hope to see you around, Dr Yang." Teddy whispered, merely centimeters away from Cristina's lips.

Teddy left leaving a stunned Cristina behind. She was in utter shock. Did she just kiss her? Would she ever see her again? She hopes she does.

Cristina shakes her head and exits the room and walks around to find Meredith. She peeked in the trauma rooms, check the nurse stations, the ORs, but couldn't find her. Then she remember her new favorite on-call room. The one near the OB wing. She speed walked towards it and opened the door revealing Meredith with a sleeping Addison in top of her.

"Cristina?" Meredith whispered.

"Something just happened to me. Something crazy." Cristina whispered as she quickly spoke.

"Tell me about it, but keep it down." Addison had slightly moved her arm and Meredith didn't want her to wake up from her nap.

"So this hot military woman comes in. She had a makeshift tracheostomy tube on the patient. She was bleeding from her thigh and I helped her. Then before she left she kissed me and I don't know. Like my brain stopped working." Meredith lightly giggled trying to not wake Addison up.

"It's not funny Meredith. I've never kissed a woman before."

"Cristina, it's okay. Just take a few breaths, you're probably panicking because it was your first time. It happens and it's totally okay."

Cristina took a deep breath. "Thank you, Mere. Really, thank you. I'll go back before Bailey rips my head off."

After a long tiring day, Cristina walked out of the ER to take a break from her chaotic day. As she was walking into the benches she saw her. She saw Teddy sitting there looking at something, looking at nothing? She decided to walk towards her. As she approached her she noticed tears pudding in her eyes.

"Hey." Cristina softly said, for some reason it came out softer than she wanted to. It came out just like when she talks to little Meredith.

"Hi." Teddy greeted back, quickly blinking while keeping her eyes forward.

"You okay?" Cristina sat next to her.

"Uh, yeah. I think I am."

"You sure, hon?" Cristina said without thinking. She didn't quite know why she was acting so protective all of the sudden. Especially with someone she just met.

"Well, I'm trying to be. It wasn't easy back there. I was trying to take a nap at the hotel near by, but I just couldn't so I came here. I'm not sure why. I just walked and here I am. My PTSD isn't being very nice right now." She let out a dry chuckle.

"Hey." Cristina's tone sounded more like a scolding than a simple 'don't say that' . "Here." Cristina took out her pen from her pocket and a scrap paper from her scrubs. "That's my number. You call me any time. I'll try to best to help you."

"Thank you, Dr. Yang."

"Call me Cristina." She smiled. "I gotta go now, but like I said if you need me just call me." Teddy nodded her head.

Cristina got up and left. She started her morning shift in a couple of hours and she needed to get some rest. She also needed an explanation on why she was acting like that towards Teddy. She didn't know the woman yet she wanted to...care for her? She didn't know and the fact that she didn't know was frustrating her. She definitely had to talk to Addison.
