Enid had spent the afternoon with Yoko. Mainly telling her about Wednesday and then also mentioning her interaction with Wanda. Yoko seemed really interested in that part for some reason, but Enid didn't know why. It's not like she has a crush on her, she just thinks she's cute and funny. Eventually she made it back to her dorm for the night, but when she opened the door she found Wednesday scraping off the carefully placed colored plastic that she had put on the big circle window in the middle of the room.

She stomped up to her after slamming the door behind her. "What the hell did you do to my room?"

"Dividing our room equally," Wednesday responded and stood up, having finished. She pushed all the colored plastic on the floor to Enid's side of the room which was separated by duck tape on the floor. "It looks like a rainbow vomited on your side."

Enid looked at the perfectly divided window. Okay, so maybe it was only fair that Wednesday decorated her half of the room however she wanted. But she still could've said something first. Besides, wasn't she planning to run away? So why bother taking down Enid's decorations of a room she won't even be in soon? Enid turned to her to ask. "I—"

"Silence would be appreciated," Wednesday cut her off as she sat down at her desk. "This is my writing time."

She raised an eyebrow. "Your writing time?"

"I devote an hour a day to my novel. Perhaps if you did the same, your blog might be coherent. I've read serial killer diaries with better punctuation."

"I write in my voice," Enid was now defensive. She has only been nice to Wednesday and yet now she was insulting her. She takes pride in her blog, the whole school reads it. "It's my truth. It's what my followers love."

Wednesday turned in her chair. "Your followers are clearly imbeciles." She stood up and walked over to Enid, still staying on her side. "They respond to your stories with insipid little pictures."

"Uh, you mean emojis? It's how people express their feelings. Ya know, I realize that's a foreign concept for you."

"When I look at you, the following emojis come to mind: rope, shovel, hole." She turned and walked away. "By the way, there are two D's in Addams. If you're going to gossip about me, at least spell my name correctly."

Enid was seriously annoyed now. So much for being friends, right now, it's time to be petty. She pulled out her phone and turned on some random K-pop song as she began to dance around out of spite.

Wednesday of course immediately turned back to her before she could even sit down. "Turn that off." But Enid just kept dancing and ignoring her. Wednesday began to march back to her. "This is your final warning."

But when she got close Enid growled as she raised her hands and extended her claws. "Don't mess with me. This kitty's got claws, and I am not afraid to use them."

Wednesday wasn't scared by the poor attempt at a threat, but her eyes did dart to the rainbow painted claws. They seemed rather sharp. She wondered just how much damage they were truly capable of doing. Too bad they're attached to a bubbly blonde who's probably all bark and no bite. A waste if you ask her. But it's nice to know that her roommate isn't a doormat. It's been a while since anyone actually bothered to step to her. The complacency was getting boring. Who knows, maybe she can enjoy messing with Enid for the week that she's here.

That's when a woman with red hair, carrying a potted plant opened the door and walked in making Enid quickly retract her claws. "Good evening, girls." Enid and Wednesday turned to face her, Enid putting her hands behind her back. "Oh, sorry about the mud." The woman closed the door behind her. "I wanted to make sure that Wednesday was settling in."
