After the tragedies that had befallen the Afton family, William Afton’s descent into madness seemed complete. The once-proud father had become a shadow of his former self, consumed by his dark obsessions and the monstrous creations that had torn his life apart. But even as he spiraled further into the abyss, he wasn’t done yet.

William made the decision to reopen Freddy Fazbear’s Family Diner, hoping to regain some semblance of control over his crumbling world. He envisioned it as a fresh start, a new chapter in the story that had been written in blood and madness. But he wasn’t the only one with plans for the reopening.

Henry, William’s old business partner, had grown increasingly suspicious of him over the years. He knew there was something wrong, something dark lurking beneath the surface. So when William proposed reopening the diner, Henry agreed, but not without making some adjustments of his own.

Unbeknownst to William, Henry had installed new features in the animatronics—Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, and the Puppet—allowing them to identify and report anyone with a criminal record. Henry wasn’t taking any chances. He had seen too much, and he wanted to make sure that whatever horrors had plagued the past wouldn’t find their way into the future.

Michelle’s transformation into a rotting purple corpse had nearly destroyed her. The young woman, once full of life and hope, now hid away from the world, consumed by shame and insecurity. But in her darkest hour, Jacob had been there for her.

Despite her monstrous appearance, Jacob saw Michelle for who she truly was—a person he loved and cared for. He refused to let her fade away into the shadows of her insecurities. Instead, he stood by her side, helping her find strength in the midst of her new reality.

Their relationship deepened as Jacob became her anchor in a world that had turned its back on her. He reminded her of who she was beneath the decayed flesh, helping her navigate the challenges of her new existence. Over time, Michelle began to accept her new form, though she still struggled with the stares and whispers of those who couldn’t see past her appearance.

Together, they faced the world, finding solace in each other’s presence. Jacob’s unwavering support gave Michelle the courage to keep going, even when it felt like the weight of her circumstances would crush her. And in return, Michelle gave Jacob a reason to keep fighting, to protect the one person who had become his whole world.

When William announced the reopening of Freddy Fazbear’s Family Diner, Jacob wasn’t sure what to think. Part of him wanted to stay as far away from anything related to the Afton family as possible, but another part of him—perhaps the part that was still haunted by the memories of the strange occurrences at the previous location—felt drawn to it.

After much consideration, Jacob decided to take the job as the night guard. He needed the money, and besides, he couldn’t shake the feeling that there were still answers to be found, pieces of the puzzle that might explain the horrors that had befallen Michelle and her family.

On his first night, Jacob arrived at the diner with a mix of apprehension and determination. The building had been refurbished, given a fresh coat of paint, and filled with new animatronics that were more advanced than their predecessors. But no amount of renovations could erase the feeling of dread that settled over him as he walked through the doors.

He made his way to the security office, where a series of monitors displayed the various rooms of the diner. The animatronics—Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Mangle—stood on their stages, their lifeless eyes staring into the distance. The Puppet, housed in the Prize Corner, remained still in its box, its strings hanging limply.

As the clock struck midnight, Jacob’s shift officially began. He settled into the chair, his eyes scanning the monitors as he tried to get a sense of his surroundings. For the first hour, everything was quiet—almost too quiet. The animatronics remained in their places, and the building was eerily silent, save for the faint hum of the lights.
