"Gha uuwi ako sa Naga for the fiesta next week." Leni informed her girlfriend Risa who was on the living room, signing papers for a new bill. "Sure gha, gusto ko sumama kaso pupunta ako ng Cebu." Risa said. Leni finished cooking and set the table up. Risa on the other hand smelled the savory aroma of Leni's cooking which made her stomach grumble. She stood up and admired the woman in front of her. Her eyes stared the woman's curves.
"Ayan ka naman hinihuburan mo ako gamit ang mata mo." Leni stated without looking at Risa. Risa walked behind Leni and wrapped her arms around her waist with a smile. "Ang sexy kasi ng girlfriend ko." She gave kisses on Leni's neck which made the other woman release giggles.
"Kain na." Leni offered and Risa happily sat on the chair preventing herself from digging in the food. "Sarap naman nito gha." Risa complimented earning a playful pinch on her waist from her girlfriend. Leni served food for Risa like she was a child. Well she's her baby after all. "I love you gha." Leni said and kissed Risa on the lips. "I love you too." Risa replied.
Naga
Leni was attending the procession in the busy streets of Naga for their feast of their Lady of Peñafrancia, she is a devotee even before she entered politics. People were calling her name waving hello's and asking for a photo. She gladly accepted those requests. However she was a notified by an unusual request. "Ma'am gusto daw po makipag meet ni Princess Fiona." Raffy one of her associates informed her. She laughed at the nickname but went serious after.
"Kelan daw?" Leni saw the worry in her colleague's eyes. "Ngayon araw daw po." Raffy took a huge sigh waiting for her boss's reaction. But Leni being demure she kept her composure. "Full sched tayo diba? Hindi natin ma a-accomodate yan."
"Eh ma'am papunta na raw po siya dito."
Cebu
"Senator, welcome back to Cebu po!" One of the admins of the foundation welcomed her. She was invited as a guest speaker. "Daghan nga salamat." She replied with her little knowledge of Cebuano. She was warmly welcomed by the people at the airport. Risa along with her staff is escorted to their vehicle. Everyone was silent throughout the ride as everyone felt tired from traveling.
But that silence was disturbed by whispers and gossip by Risa's staff. "Ano pinagkakaguluhan niyo jan?" The latter asked. Her staff stared at her with doubt. Fear displayed throughout their body. "Uhm, Sen. Nandon po sa Naga si VP." As Risa heard that her face formed a frown. "Yeah, sinabi naman sakin ni Leni uuwi siya." Her brows furrowed. "Si present VP po, I mean." The staff's voice decreased as she mentioned the present Vice President. Risa's fists clenched so hard that her veins on her arms look like it would pop any minute.
"Shiminet like my answer." The staff whispered to ease the growing tension which they were nudged by their colleague.
After that heavy ride, Risa brushed it aside for a moment and wore her happy face. She greeted everyone there. In the middle of a program there was a production number by a drag queen who had pictures of the high rank officials. She tore the middle of it symbolizing the downfall of unity in their party

Then they continue to tear the other picture. They were about to tear the picture of the Vice President, instead they gave it to the senator. Risa gladly took the picture and ripped it to pieces in a very demure and mindful way, everyone screamed with excitement. She was aware she was being filmed. She gave the picture back to the performer whilst smiling innocently.
Back in Naga.
Leni tried to contact Risa, however the latter didn't receive any messages. She knew her girlfriend was pissed. Leni already saw the video and she was sure it was a warning for her.
"Raffy, pwede mo ba ma contact yung staff ni Risa? Di kasi siya sumasagot sakin." Leni desperately asks Raffy. She misses her girlfriend already. She wanted to see her and explain everything. It was 2 days ago since that incident and by now Risa has returned to Manila from Cebu.
"Nasa labas na daw po ng bahay nyo si Senator, Madam." Leni didn't need to ask as she rushed out of her home. She excused from her staff who was along her way. Finally she reached outside the gate to see Risa talking to her staff. Without a doubt Leni ran towards her and she embraced her.
However Risa didn't return the action. Instead she just stood still and signaled her staff to go. "Pangga I'm so sorry-"
"Usap tayo sa kuwarto — humanda ka sakin Leonor"
And with that sentence Leni prayed for what's worse to come
