I grabbed my keys from the bedroom and headed outside. Sliding into the driver's seat of my car, I felt the engine purr to life as I reversed out of the driveway. The streets were quiet, a stark contrast to the storm of thoughts swirling in my mind. As I drove towards the nearest medical store, I couldn't help but wonder how she must be feeling right now. I vaguely remembered what I'd learned about periods from textbooks back in school—how for some, it could be excruciatingly painful, while for others, it was just a normal part of life.
Shit. I didn't even ask her how she was feeling.
Before this, I was alone, all alone. I never imagined I'd be in a situation where I'd care about someone else, let alone a girl.
But she isn't just any girl—she's my girl.
It's been two weeks since our unexpected marriage, and here I am, practically crushing on her.
Am I really crushing on her? I think so.
But isn't it the stupidest thing to be crushing on my own student, who's nine years younger than me?
Fuck it. She's my wife too and there is nothing wrong in crushing over my own wife.
I tried to convince myself.
As I approached the medical store, I parked my car and pulled out my phone. I hesitated for a moment before deciding to do something I'd never imagined myself doing. Opening Google, I typed in a search: How does a girl feel during menstruation?
