The devil has always been known as God's favorite angel before he was banished to the underworld.

There's a fine line between Heaven and Hell.

Hell could be a place, just like Heaven could. They were the same, yet, so different.

One would have white and golden hands reaching out to pull you up into that warm embrace of clouds, while red and orange arms would tear people past the grass and dirt to join the fire they swam in.

Many souls always wanted to know what Heaven looked like, whilst a little part of most always wished to take a peak at what Hell resembled.

Was it just like the books said? Scorching and painful? Would there be red and blue flames surrounding you and burning your head like a halo would? Would you be exposed to flashes of each terrible moment of the life you had before this? Would you have to see them over and over again until the feeling of your flesh splitting into two by the prickle of flames felt like the better option?

It's a wonder. The afterlife.

Or maybe... maybe Heaven and Hell existed only here, on the planet they called Earth.

Maybe each moment was a glimpse at it.

Some find there wedding day to be the best day of their lives. It's just an example, but it would make sense to say that the soft white would resemble the clouds, much like a key to what Heaven was like.

And then there was the bad. For instance, maybe getting mugged.

You'd be forced to watch someone run off with your money, or wallet, maybe your entire bag at that point. You'd chase after them pathetically, the dark of the night making it almost impossible to see your attacker. And even it were to be day, the Sun would glare at you enough to the point of blindness.

Much like how the fire would kiss your skin millions of miles below.

It's not easy to tell where you'll end up. According to the thin pages of the bible, the good ol' guy who ruled the sky was the one who decided your fate.

And who knows what could happen? You could be the happiest and kindest person in the world and somehow still end up in the firey pits of a place you never thought you'd be forced into. It was impossible to know for sure. What could a book tell you?

Or actually, you could've been kind... only to turn into a complete monster with each passing second, getting worse and worse with age, growing bigger and bigger until it's past the size of normality, God not even having to sit down and decide where you'll be staying after that final breath you'd take.

It makes you wonder what happens. After death, that is.

Was all this a hoax? Every mention of God or the Devil?

After all, the Devil was a fallen angel, previously God's favorite.

He was kind. He was good.

And now he was forced to rule the underworld, forced to look up at the place he used to call home for the rest of eternity, until time meant nothing anymore.

An angel turned to a demon.

An warm soul finally burnt to ash.

And all his life, Yoon Jeonghan seemed to never stop wondering if his situation was similar, where he'd end up.

After all, he had the safe fate, that smile on his face forced to dip into a scowl. It didn't fit his features.

He used to be called an angel.

Who knew he'd be banished from humanity all the same?

After all, like Seokmin would say to a certain someone in the future....

"The moment you agreed to abide with Pledis, was the moment you agreed to step into the gates of Hell."

..... "And nobody gets out of Hell."
