Snake watched everyone leave the cave she and Venomous were in, "So, you and your friends took down most of the tribes concerns?" Venomous asked with genuine curiosity, Snake nodded and said, "Y-Yeah." Venomous actually looked down saddened, Snake then asked, "Wh-What's wrong, I've never seen you sad."
Venomous looked at Snake and said, "It's Mother, she sent she's realized that there are traitors among her kin, she planned on using the three groups as back up after her most loyal kin took over." Snake nodded, she had always known about Mother's plan, Venomous seemed to choke on his words, something that was very unusual.
"Mother... I... She.... The reason I'm not in the rainforest anymore is because... I failed my mission... I... I fell in love..." Venomous said, his voice was filled with true sorrow as tears fell down his face, Snake got closer to her brother cell and said, "What did Mother do?" Her voice was full of concern form her normally joyous brother.
The moment of sobbing before Venomous began was like fire on a wound to Snake, "She.... Mother... She killed my beloved.... He was a tall showing like your friend... I... I wanted to replace him.... To feel whole again but... He's gone..." Venomous sobbing continued as Snake's mind started to shift, her scales flattened.
As Snake thought of everything that had happened to her siblings and to her, she couldn't help but feel rage and hatred for her Mother, her voice was in an unusual growl as she said, "What is Mother planning now?" Venomous looked a bit surprised but through the tears, he said, "Sh-She plans to kill Queen Moorhen and take her place to start a war if the Scarlet spears are defeated."
Snake tensed up, Mother was no longer someone she feared, but someone she hated and she would make her pay. Snake then calmed herself and said, "Venomous, can you still turn into a sandwing?" He simply nodded before quickly making himself look like a sandwing.
The cell was then unlocked by Snake, Venomous looked confused and said, "Why are you doing this?" Snake looked at him and said, "Because, you don't want to do what Mother says, do you?" Venomous hesitated but shook his head slowly, Snake smiled a bit and said, "So, how about we talk for a bit before I introduce you to everyone? What was your boyfriend's name?"
"Crimson, he was so handsome... Although I have slight doubts about Mother killing him..." Venomous said, Snake then said, "Let me guess, you didn't see the body?" Venomous nodded and said, "Yeah, maybe Mother kept him alive as leverage against me... Or maybe I'm to hopeful..."
Snake wrapped her wing around her brother and said, "Don't worry, if he is still alive, I'll do everything I can to help get him back, I promise." Venomous smiled slightly and said, "Thank you... Snake."
