Chad finished adjusting the crown he had just made in the 3D printer, admiring it in the mirror. "Finally," he said, planting a kiss on it before placing it on his head. He struck a pose, gazing at himself.

"Oh, what's that?" he asked his reflection. "Why no, El- Audrey, I haven't chosen my queen yet."

His phone rang, interrupting his self-conversation. Chad glanced at it and then walked over to answer.

"Who could be calling me?" he muttered, picking up the phone.

"Oooh! Audrey! Audrey!" Chad exclaimed, excitedly letting the phone slip from his grip and fall to the floor.

"Chad! This is my room, Chad!" Carlos said, exasperated, as he entered the room to find Chad lounging around. Chad motioned for him to wait a moment as he scrambled to pick up the phone.

"What? Audrey? Yeah. Yeah?" Chad said, starting to stand up. "Well, yeah. Oh, well, that's wonderful news." He glanced over at Carlos with a grin and said, "She got a flat tire in Sherwood Forest, and she wants me to go fix it."

Carlos, taken aback, replied, "That's six hours away."

"Really? Only six?" Chad said, his excitement unabated. "I'm gonna be there faster than I thought." He kissed the phone and made for the door, but Carlos stopped him.

"Ah, ah. My printer, my crown," Carlos said, reaching out and removing the crown from Chad's head.

"Oh. Yeah, about that, I was j—" Chad began to explain, but Carlos cut him off.

"Right," Carlos said with a smirk. Chad shrugged and quickly walked out of the room.

"I'm coming, Audrey!" Chad called as he hurried away.

Carlos shook his head in disbelief, muttering, "Wow."

The boat was alive with the rhythmic beats of music as guests danced and mingled under the night sky. Evie glided in front of photographers, who snapped pictures of her. "Evie, you look beautiful!" one photographer called out, and Evie smiled brightly as she posed.

"Thank you so much," she replied, beaming.

"Did you design the barrette?" a reporter asked.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? Uh, no, it's not my creation. Many of the hair accessories this evening are by a fabulous new designer, Dizzy of the Isle," Evie explained into the camera. Dizzy, watching from a nearby TV, jumped up with excitement.

"That's me! I made that!" Dizzy squealed, but a loud knock from above interrupted her.

"Knock it off!" Lady Tremaine shouted from above.

"I'm sorry, Granny!" Dizzy called back, looking apologetic.

"Jane! There you are, my dear. Everything looks beautiful, my love," the Fairy Godmother said, rushing over to her daughter, who stood awkwardly next to Carlos.

"But we just need to ladle out the punch before the sherbet melts," the Fairy Godmother continued. Jane stopped her with a smile.

"Mom, I have a date," Jane said proudly, with Carlos standing behind the Fairy Godmother, smiling.

"A date? Really?" the Fairy Godmother asked, excited. She glanced at Carlos and asked softly, "Do you have a date too?"

"Yeah," Carlos said happily, looking at Jane.

"Really?" the Fairy Godmother asked, her excitement growing as she looked between them.

"Mom," Jane said, taking Carlos's hand.
