Chapter: July 8th, SaturdayEarly Morning at the Stables

The early morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the sleeping house. I woke up before the others, feeling refreshed despite the whirlwind of emotions from the previous day. I decided to seize the tranquility of the early hours and slipped out of bed quietly.

Jude stirred when I gently nudged him. He blinked sleepily but smiled when he saw my determined expression. "Good morning," he murmured, pulling me close for a quick kiss.

"Good morning," I whispered back. "I thought we might take a stroll to the stables and enjoy somecoffe."

He nodded, stretching and sitting up. "Sounds perfect."

"great Im gonna goand make the coffe.."

"ok"

We dressed quickly in cozy clothes and made our way outside, savoring the crisp morning air. The world outside was bathed in a gentle, golden light, and the countryside seemed to come alive with birdsong and the rustling of leaves.

At the stables, the horses greeted us with curious eyes and soft whinnies.I brought some sugar so we fed thehorses. Jude and I settled on a pair of wooden benches near the tack room, where I had left a thermos of the coffee I'd brewed the night before. We poured ourselves a cup and sipped slowly, enjoying the calm and the peace of the early morning.

"Look at this place," Jude said, his voice soft as he looked around at the familiar surroundings. "It's like stepping into a different world."

I nodded, taking in the serene beauty of the countryside. "It really is. I've missed it."

We sat in companionable silence, the warmth of the coffee and the serenity of the stables wrapping around us like a comforting blanket. It was a perfect start to a new chapter in our lives, one that promised so many changes and joys.

Breakfast Preparation

Back at the house, the smell of breakfast began to waft through the rooms. Denise and Sarah were busy in the kitchen, preparing a hearty meal to start the day. Pancakes sizzled on the griddle, and the aroma of bacon filled the air. Meanwhile, Jobe and James were setting the table with cheerful chatter, arranging plates and utensils with a practiced ease.

Mark and my dad were already at the table, chatting and enjoying their coffee while waiting for the rest of us to join them.

As Jude and I walked in from the stables, I could see everyone's faces light up. "Good morning!" mom called out, her voice warm and welcoming. "Hope you enjoyed the early start."

"It was lovely," I replied, giving her a quick hug. "Thank you for making breakfast."

Jude and I joined the others at the table, the conversation flowing easily as everyone dug into the delicious spread. The room was filled with laughter and the clinking of utensils, the perfect way to start a day of family bonding.

Forest Walk

After breakfast,we were really bored so we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and go for a walk through the forest path nearby. The trail was shaded by tall trees, their leaves whispering in the breeze. We followed the winding path, the soft crunch of leaves underfoot providing a soothing rhythm to our steps.

The walk was a chance for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. Jude and I stayed close, holding hands and sharing quiet conversations. Jobe and James lagged behind us, their playful banter creating a lively backdrop to the serene surroundings. Mark, Denise, Sarah, and Eric walked ahead, their contented smiles reflecting the peacefulness of the moment.
