People in Philadelphia and the entire Delaware Valley know that people who listen to the oldies in the drive-time afternoon know Charlie Bennett; Charlie Bennett hosted the afternoon drive-time show on WOGL-FM from 4 PM to 7 PM, helping listeners ease their way through the end of another work day with a good golden oldie or two.
Now, as with Mike St. John, not very much is known about Charlie Bennett; all I know is that he was from Ashland, Wisconsin, and then moved to and still lives in Philadelphia. He was a WOGL air personality from 1987-2005 and, for a brief time, a personality for WPEN from 2005-2006.
