My life is chaotic but I enjoy every second of it.

But sometimes it gets too much and you start questioning your existence.

That was what I was going through at the moment. My love for my ex-boyfriend was real and pure and I expected the same from him, not his sugar-coated lies.

The ringing phone snapped me out of my spiraling thoughts, and I read my mother's name.

"Hello, Maa." I said answering the call.

"Hello, kya Kar rahi hai? Itni der kyu lagayi phone uthane mein? My mother asked worried.

"Kuch nhi Maa paint kr rahi thi. Udhr dhyan tha pata hi nhi apka call kab aya." I replied.

"Thik hai na sab Esha? Kuch problem ho to bata." My mother asked worried.

"Haa Maa sab thik hai."

I wanted to share everything I was going through with my mother, but I held back, not wanting to cause her any worry.

Assuring my mother everything was fine, I ended the call making my way towards the bath to wash away all the overthinking I had been doing all day.

Getting out of the bathroom, I walked back to my room, I heard my main door lock unlocking.

I froze for a moment, my heart skipping a beat. Who could it be? I wasn't expecting someone. I quietly tip-toed my way to the kitchen, reaching for the pan on the counter.

With one hand clutching the pan, I tightened my grip on the towel in the other as I slowly made my way to the living room.

Only to see my best friend Aditi sneaking in like a thief. A mischievous idea crossed my mind. I crept up behind her and, with a grin, gave her a good spank on her ass with the pan.

She let out a loud, surprised scream.

"Esha! What on earth are you doing?" Aditi snapped, clearly irritated.

"Just giving you a little spank," I replied, a playful smirk spreading across my lips.

Clutching my towel tightly, I dashed away.

"Why are you running, baby girl?" Aditi teased, grinning wickedly.

She knew I wasn't wearing anything under my towel. She gave chase, leaping over the sofa and scattering everything in her path, until finally, she caught me.

"Kaha bhag rahi thi ab batati hoon tujhe." she said clutching my towel.

"Chor de kutti, meri izzat lootegi kya ab?" I said

"Aisa kya hai tere main jo meri body main nhi hain"?

"Do do toh sab hain"? She said looking at her boobies.

"Ladke nhi milre tu ye gandi bate mujhse Kar rahi hai"? I asked curiously.

"Ladko ki line hai, par mujhe jo chahiye wo toh bhav nahi de raha"? She said frowning.

"Kon hai ye mystery man"? I asked her.

"Mera mood kharab hain ,wo badme baat karenge,
I bought food". she said taking the food out of the containers.

"Okay, I'll put on some clothes and come."I said walking toward my room.

Aditi has been the person who was always there, no matter what. She's like the female version of my ideal partner: fiercely protective, incredibly loving, and delightfully chaotic.

Life hasn't always gone my way; I've faced more than my share of setbacks.

But in Aditi, I got lucky. With her by my side, I felt like a different person, completely at ease, with no worries or thoughts clouding my mind when we were together.

Putting my clothes on I walked back to the living room and saw Aditi had already started stuffing food like an elephant.

This girl had two true loves in life: food and fashion.

It didn't take much to win her over-just a good meal or a stylish outfit, and she was all yours. Bribing her with food? A piece of cake.

"Sab thoosegi kya mere liye bhi rakh de." I said settling myself on the sofa.

"Itni der kapde kon pehn raha tha? Mere pet main pata nhi kon kon-se janwar dance kr rahe the." She said swallowing half of the blueberry cheesecake.

THIS GIRL.

"Bas kr ja bhukkad kahiki." I said snatching the remaining piece.

"Kutti." She rolled her eyes, picking up the remote and switching on the television.

"What do you wanna watch?" Aditi asked.

"House of the dragons," I replied

"Okay," she said munching on lays.

We watched two episodes and finished our dinner.

Aditi tidied up the living room while I handled the dishes. I grabbed some cozy blankets from my room, and we sprawled out on the sofa, lazily scrolling through our phones.

I broke the silence, pouring out my thoughts, and said, "Tomorrow, I'm putting BRONZE HEART up for auction."
