AN: short but sweet
It was going to be rough, Siobhan would have to go back to roger until the takeover happened. Vivian had managed to get Reece and Autumn to move the next board meeting forwards, two days after Siobhan left rehab. She had dealt with a lifetime of this, she could handle a couple more days.
But that didn't stop Vivian from worrying. She had managed to convince Siobhan (not that it took much convincing) to let her pick her up from the clinic. Atleast then they could spend a little bit more time together.
28 days in, Siobhan checked out of rehab.
28 days completely sober.
28 days of mostly peace.
28 days of not worrying about her safety.
Vivian was her safety, which was why she couldn't help but grin as she saw Vivian leaning up against her car. Siobhan's heart skipped a beat as she increased her pace to meet the girl
"Hey gorgeous" Vivian said pulling the girl into a hug. Siobhan fell into the hug. She inhaled Vivian scent, it was woody but not overly masculine, a stark contrast to the clinical smell she had become used to. It was comforting, Vivian was comforting. Vivian was her home at this point, she felt safe and loved whenever she was in her embrace. As the two parted, Vivian got to take a good look at Siobhan. Her hair was down and covering her face slightly. Vivian put her hands on either side of Siobhan's face, before running her fingers along the girl's scalp, simultaneously pushing the hair out of the way, resulting in a slight sigh from the blonde
"I've missed your face" Vivian whispered. "God, you're beautiful" They both could sense the tension of this interaction. They were each just waiting for the other to give in.
"I've missed you" Siobhan said stepping closer before resting her hands on Vivian's waist. You could basically hear Vivian thinking about it, whether or not she should kiss Siobhan.
"Please just kiss me" Siobhan whispered.
Vivian's heart jumped up to her ears hearing this. She wrapped her right hand to the back of Siobhan's neck, her left hand travelled down to her waist.
She brought the blonde closer to her, close enough where their hips were pressed to each other.
"Are you sure?" Vivian asked as she gently thumbed the back of Siobhan's neck. Siobhan nodded, moving her own hands up to Vivian's neck. Siobhan closed to a distance, but she was willing to let Vivian take complete control over the kiss. Vivian was soft and gentle, she took her time. For the first time in her life, Siobhan felt as if she could breathe.
Once Vivian had kissed her, Siobhan knew she would never be the same again. She drank it in, memorised the movements and patterns, and embedded it deep into her soul.
Siobhan ended up with her back against the car, where Vivian was leaning previously. The kiss obviously got deeper and more passionate, but there was no expectation attached. Vivian kissed Siobhan, just to kiss her. It was thrilling for Siobhan, and kind of unusual. Any affection she had been shown before Vivian, always came with the expectation of something to follow. But it wasn't like that anymore.
It wasn't like that with her.
The two only broke apart when they were desperate for air. Their physical contact never faltered. Whether it was their hands on eachother, or the way their foreheads were pressed together.
"I'll be okay" Siobhan spoke "I have to be, I'll get out of this because I want to experience that, every day for the rest of my life" she smiled.
"If you ever have the urge to do drugs again, you call me. Or you let me know what you're thinking and I will find a way to make you feel better" Vivian told her. "I love you and I can't bear the thought of anything happening to you"
"I love you too" Siobhan smiled before pulling Vivian into a hug.
The two clambered into the back of Vivian's car and enjoyed eachothers company. They cuddled in close to eachother, just enjoying the peace. It wasn't going to stay peaceful for long. But it was okay, because Siobhan would always have a home with Vivian. Vivian was her home.
