"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO CHANGE ROOMS?!" Liz yells.

"To fit Elizabeth into the orphanage, you have to share rooms with Merlin," Miss Jericho calmly explains.

"BUT I WANNA SLEEP WITH MY POOKIE BEAR!" Liz shouts, three times louder.

I hear her voice from the other side of the corridor. I'm playing cards with Diane, Elaine, King and Ban. They are actually really friendly — unlike somebody else. Merlin and Escanor were playing Truth or Dare, which I originally wanted to play, but Diane really wanted to know my card skills.

J'ai tout gagné, or simply, 'I won it all'.

"Damn, Elizabeth. You're a genius at this." Diane sighs.

"And I thought I was good," mumbled Elaine.

"Maybe you could beat Merlin with her mind tricks and whatever-the-hell she has," Ban laughs.

I smile shyly, still hearing Liz's voice from the other side of the corridor. She was debating her reasons to Miss Jericho, but from what I heard, she won't win. She'll never win. Loud stomps from the halls echoed towards our room. It was very strong it shook the floor of our room. We dropped our cards and felt a strong presence from Miss Jericho.

A bloodcurdling scream roared in the orphanage. A slam of purple flashed in our eyes, a swirl of black mixed into the dark too. Silence dropped into the abyss of nothingness, and confusion appeared on our faces. What just happened? Did anything bad happen? What happened to Liz?

Liz entered the room, flooding with streams of blood and gore. A bloodcurdling visual for me and everyone else, a nightmare to especially Elaine's eyes. A dreaded horror scene out of a movie. Liz's eyes popped out, and her veins turned icy green and ruby red.

Liz pounced on me.

Her blood gushed out on my face, while I defended myself using my martial arts. Her eyeballs rolled across my torso, and a sea of red drowned me in distress and horror. I fought back, ready to sacrifice my life if I needed to. I kicked, I punched, I pulled away. I made sure this wasn't my last day.

Miss Jericho pulled Liz back and knocked her over. She pulled her red hair and kicked her in the stomach.

"Don't worry, Elizabeth. This always happens — you'll get used to it." Miss Jericho explains.

"But that has never happened with Liz!" Elaine debates.

"Fair enough," Miss Jericho continues, "but Liz is a very unexpected person. You'll never know what will happen to her... or to you."

A slight tension filled the atmosphere. The orphanage front door opened, releasing the tension into the midst of darkness. Me, Elaine, Diane, Ban, King, Merlin and Escanor walked downstairs, and we all saw Meliodas. I don't know where he went, and I don't know why, but my heart felt joy when I saw him.

"Hey, I'm back!" Meliodas greets in a cheery tone, "Where's Miss Jericho?"

"Liz got her angry issues onto her," Diane rolls her eyes.

"Thought so. But why was she mad at Miss Jericho?" Meliodas queries.

"It's because she didn't want to exchange beds with Elizabeth and didn't want to move to Merlin's room." Elaine explains.

"Oh, okay." Meliodas shrugs. He looks over at me, observing my looks and appearance.

"It's fine if Ellie needs to exchange with Liz," Meliodas adds.

"Ellie? That's new." Ban teases, "she's the only girl you've actually given a nickname to,"

Diane laughs, "To be fair, Elizabeth would be a better girlfriend than Liz. She is prettier as well."

Everyone bursts into laughter. My cheeks fluster. That's new. Young children, knowing what a non-platonic relationship is? Wow. Miss Jericho snaps her fingers to get everyone's attention. She sweeps her hands to get rid of the blood from Liz and coughs at her own disgust.

"As you all may know," Miss Jericho coughs, "Elizabeth will be joining us today. Now, we don't have much rooms for Elizabeth, but we can exchange Liz's bed and make her (Liz) sleep with Merlin."

Elaine was about to say something, but she got cut off.

"I have set this up this way because of Elizabeth's standards. She likes picturesque and idyllic landscapes, loves sketching art, but is prepared for any martial-art event. I also believe that Liz deserves a punishment, and must go with the freak. No offense, Merlin." Miss Jericho explains.

Miss Jericho's explanation just made Merlin smirk even harder.

"Now, who would like to show Elizabeth the placed of the orphanage?"
